"Good evening, ladies and gentlemen with bare shoulders and those without, welcome to the Paris Film Festival, an annual grand event unlike any other year, where the well-established folks face a super tough competitor, both legendary in status and for his blockbuster film."
Laughter erupted from the audience.
He smiled and pointed at Durin: "Welcome Lord Durin Ailish, your flawless performance last year captivated all judges, please come to the stage to receive your first award."
"The Rookie Award, the first to be presented, serves to get the most awesome young person up here to introduce themselves," Chelney explained with a laugh, patting Durin on the shoulder.
Durin stood up somewhat awkwardly, as Astrid smiled and swapped places with him: "I believe you'll have to stand up several more times tonight, let's switch places."
