On the day before the holiday, Durin finally made a courteous appearance at the academy.
After listening to Dean Sean's lengthy discourse, and having taken the second-year group photo under Mrs. Kos's guidance, Durin greeted a few familiar classmates.
Having dealt with the academy's affairs, Durin then rushed to several places, informing the girls about his whereabouts, before going to pick up Anta and Irene.
The next time he saw Irene, Durin almost didn't recognize the little beauty before him—her hair had completely turned to a fiery red, and her eyes had also transformed into red pupils. The once scrawny girl was now taller than Durin.
Upon seeing Durin, she let out a joyful chirp and appeared beside Durin in a flash, hugging him tightly.
Durin only felt as if he were being embraced by heaven, feeling an extraordinary warmth on his face.
Unconsciously, even Irene had developed a spherical body, truly worthy of being the child of the Red Feathers.
