In the afternoon, the weather cleared up, and when Astrid followed Durin and the others out of the small building, almost everyone who saw her was stunned.
This uniform expression found its answer in the heart of General Kos.
"I have never seen Miss Astrid leave her little building, and today is the first time. Mr. Durin, what kind of magic power do you have?" After returning to Copenhagen, before parting, the general voiced the puzzlement in his heart.
"Because I understand her," Durin claimed.
"Because he understands me," was Astrid's response.
The general was taken aback by their unison answers that nonetheless came from different mouths, then he let out a sigh, "Then you better be careful, Durin. There might be some fellows who don't understand Miss Astrid's heart and will challenge you to a duel."
"Then I can only respect their choice," Durin responded.
"I believe Mr. Durin will kill them all," Astrid declared.
General Kos covered his face as he walked away.
