Sarol placed the report in his hands on the long table.

He wasn't surprised at Karl Elvin's death, but what surprised him was that Karl hadn't died at the hands of Durin.

To this day, Sarol still regarded Durin as the Avenger.

Since the day Harold Nash died, Sarol had been suspicious of this child from the House of Ailish.

So, he pushed that foolish boy Kyle into the spotlight, just to see whether Durin had the guts to kill Kyle or not.

And just as he had expected, Durin killed Kyle decisively in the duel.

But here was the problem, Durin had only killed Kyle in the duel and not laid a finger on Louis—even after the boy had pointed out Sarol's presence.

Yet, he did not harbor any killing intent.

Even Sarol himself began to doubt whether this young man was really the assassin who killed Harold.

Because he was indeed too calm, calm to the extent that even with his target right in front of him, he simply didn't care.

This maturity simply did not fit a thirteen-year-old child.
