(Subplot)
Little Fatty looked around at the crowds of people beside him, just as Sergei had said—they had chosen to watch the fire from across the river.
Thankfully, Sergei had a plan to deal with this. He drew the fire over to their side first, cornering them into a dead end.
Thinking about having to command such a group of onlookers made Little Fatty feel uncertain, but it was a necessary evil.
If they couldn't come together, it was very likely that they would be taken out by the group from the coal mine—they were particularly ruthless.
"Where are the people you mentioned? Are they attacking the coal mine or not?" a leader asked anxiously.
Little Fatty looked left and right, thinking that Hyena had promised just last night to come over this morning with troops to seize the coal mine.
With no sign of Hyena in sight, Little Fatty could only continue to make excuses to stall for a while longer—Hyena wouldn't fail to show up.
