Yale University was established in 1701, originally known as the Collegiate School, and it was one of the three oldest institutions of higher education in America.

The name changed because Elihu Yale, the president of the East India Company of England, donated money. With a backer like a daddy supporting it, the school expanded and became Yale University in 1718.

Initially, it was a Theological Seminary, as all the universities at that time in the 18th century centered around theology.

Yale University started offering humanities and science education courses in 1777, and in the next century, it added several graduate and professional schools.

Three years ago (1861), Yale University awarded the first doctoral degree in America, which reveals how profound its heritage was.

This was the third university that Zhu Wencong set foot in; each university he visited was stronger than the last in terms of scale and teaching faculty.
