Edith Academy is no stranger to geniuses, but there are also those less talented or even mediocre and dull; Tu Mu was one of them.
The reason he was admitted to the academy was that he had advanced to Sequence 3 at the age of 16, astonishing the people of his local town who then contacted the admissions staff at Edith Academy, but it was later discovered that this was merely because he had deviated from the norm; his Transcendent Core was severely biased during the Condensation phase and he had no potential for further progress.
He was someone who would have been abandoned, but in the end, the researchers at the academy saw the value of examining his unique case and were curious about how he managed to succeed, so they recruited him.
Before entering Edith Academy, Tu Mu had not received a good education and even had to repeat a year in the first grade to catch up on basic knowledge before barely keeping pace with the curriculum.
