Finally, when Hexia finished playing, and she opened her eyes, the world before her was still covered in ice and snow, silent beyond measure, with only a few birds flitting about, perching on the branches and curiously surveying the scene below.
In response, Hexia put down her flute and waved her arm. Wherever her gaze went, the snowflakes began to melt. In less than a few seconds, the entire valley had returned to its original state, the ground covered with colorful leaves, with just a few green blades of grass occasionally sprouting up between the crevices of rocks.
After setting down the flute, Hexia's palms formed an empty grip, and a fine sword of silvery snow appeared in her hand. Although it was held by her, she slowly began to swing it.
