Hexia stayed until the evening, during which she took a stroll in the valley with Mel, admiring the scenery and encountering a variety of Transcendent animals kept by the locals.
In the evening, Mrs. Heather brought the two of them to a cliffside restaurant in the gorge for dinner. The restaurant faced a cliff with expansive views, and the evening breeze was cool and comfortable. Inside, it wasn't uncommon to see local residents gathered for various celebrations, creating a lively atmosphere.
"Come, Hexia, you should try this. This is our local Tide Moon shellfish, and it has a very nice texture," Mrs. Heather suggested, pointing at a newly served dish on the table, which included five wave-shaped shells emitting a faint aroma of steam.
Upon opening a shell, the flesh inside was cooked through and seasoned with just the right amount of spices.
