The howling aircraft descended from the clouds, slowly landing on the deep azure tarmac of the airport before the cabin doors opened and a stream of passengers descended along the elevator.
Soon after, two pitch-black hover cars drove out of the airport, heading towards the city center. White and light gray skyscrapers rose along the way, and one could see the large air harbor to the north of the city, with interstellar transport ships taking off and landing now and then.
"So this is the headquarters of 'Permafrost Ore'?"
Seated in the hover car, Tilan saw a towering building of about 100 stories emerging in the distance, adorned with the 'Permafrost Ore' emblem—a majestic snow mountain and a corner of the mountain where ore was being excavated.
