Donnie sat in the office at the Apollo Chain headquarters, looking somewhat astonished.
In Donnie's mind, after Apollo Chain launched the 'zero-cost purchase' promotion, A&P should have responded immediately. Even if they needed to hold meetings to devise a plan, they should have put forth a response within a day or two.
But the current situation was, Apollo Chain's first zero-cost purchase lottery event was about to start today, and there was still no sign of reaction from A&P.
They just maintained their own discount intensity.
This made Donnie feel somewhat incredulous. Could it be that he had an undercover agent at A&P?
Did they not realize that just in these three days, the loss in customer traffic at A&P's retail stores had reached an alarming number?
Sitting across from Donnie were Duster Dustbog and Helen, both of whom were equally perplexed. They both couldn't quite understand what was going on with A&P's reaction.
