Walker was about to say something when Maholi stopped him with a look, and seeing this, Donnie didn't press the matter further since everyone has their own secrets.
Now that the matter was settled, they proceeded with the normal routine of friends meeting.
They chatted, ate, and drank together.
It was only when evening came, and Walker and Maholi had returned to their room, that Walker, somewhat puzzled, asked Maholi.
"Why did you stop me just now?"
Maholi gave Walker a glance and said, "That's our own business. Even if you told Donnie, he couldn't do much about it. Plus, it would be bad to needlessly worry him!"
Walker didn't seem to mind as he responded, "My relationship with Donnie isn't based on these things!"
