Donnie looked at Helen and shook his head, "I'm afraid I can't agree to your request right now. From the look of you, I can already tell that this girl's background must be quite extraordinary!"
"Hmph, look at how cautious you are!" For the first time, Helen showed a look of annoyance towards Donnie.
Donnie just smiled nonchalantly.
"Helen, so you really are here. I honestly never expected you would come to Atlantic City!"
The girl Helen disliked had accurately located her in the dance hall and approached her with a smile.
"Alice, I thought you were vacationing in Miami. What brings you to Atlantic City?"
Helen let go of Donnie and hugged Alice, speaking enthusiastically.
"I heard you were working in Atlantic City, so I thought I'd come and see what was so appealing about this place that it drew you here."
At this, Alice looked at Donnie and said with pride, "I think I know now!"
