Holding a white steamed bun in his hand, Chen Erniu looked at the dishes on the table but really couldn't muster up an appetite.
Every time he thought of the words Xu Xiuxiu had said to his sister-in-law He Hongjuan last night, Chen Erniu would lose all his appetite.
Xu Xiuxiu saw Chen Erniu only munching on the steamed bun and not eating the dishes, and couldn't help but roll her eyes.

Chen Erniu could only respond with a silly smile, "Buns, delicious."
As he spoke, he took big bites of the steamed bun, and a large white one was finished off in just a few mouthfuls.
Seeing this, Xu Xiuxiu shook her head, thinking that Chen Erniu simply didn't like to eat cucumbers.
After thinking for a while, she ladled a bowl of cucumber soup and placed it in front of him.
"You can skip the vegetables, but you must drink the soup!" Xu Xiuxiu said in a tone that carried a hint of command.
