Layman Fa Lang, when he mentioned the art of tea, said, "The way of tea is a vast and profound area of knowledge, not just the process of brewing tea, but also an attitude towards life and cultivation of the self. The saying 'Tea and Zen are of one taste' doesn't mean that one can only appreciate Zen while drinking tea; rather, it points to maintaining a state of gratitude, peace, and tranquility at all times in life."
Upon hearing Layman Fa Lang's explanation, Chu Dazhuang couldn't help but sigh, realizing that there was so much to learn about tea. He remembered how his grandfather often took him to pick tea leaves in the wild when he was a child and taught him how to brew quality tea. Back then, he had never imagined that the art of tea could be so profound and mysterious.
