Turning his head, he saw that the barking was not from some stray dog, but from a little yellow puppy with a milky voice. The puppy trotted directly up to Master Su Jing and began to bark fiercely at the group of thugs.
That bark also snapped one of the thugs back to reality.
"Master, you see, even this little dog wants your guidance, we do too," one of them said.
Master Su Jing heard this and smiled, gently putting down the broom in her hand and squatted down to pick up the little yellow dog.
"Amitabha, don't be naughty, you understand?" she said.
As she spoke, Master Su Jing extended her finger and gently tapped the little yellow dog's forehead before setting the puppy down softly.
Strangely enough, after being set down, the little yellow dog did not make a sound. It just trotted off to the side and stood quietly, still warily watching the thugs and ready to attack them at any sign of ill intention.
