"Ah?"
This single sentence had the young nurse thoroughly confused.
Following Chu Dazhuang or not was a path she had truly never considered.
Yet with Chu Dazhuang's question today, it was clear that he was entertaining the idea of taking her with him.
But should she go or not?
Seeing her lack of response, Chu Dazhuang chuckled twice.
"No worries, there's no rush," he said.
As he spoke, Chu Dazhuang stood up and took off the white coat he was wearing.
"There's still plenty of time, you have more than ten days to think it over," he said.
After finishing his words, Chu Dazhuang changed his clothes and walked gently out of the clinic.
Looking up, he gazed at the sky; the lights were already out, but outside, the queue had grown bustling and lively.
Chu Dazhuang stood there without stepping forward, watching these suffering people. Maybe it was the atmosphere of the night that set the tone, or perhaps Chu Dazhuang had suddenly become sentimental?
