Chapter 4 - Chapter 4 Night

"Sister Sun, there's no need to be polite," Zhang Xiaofan said.

Under Sun Qian's guidance, Zhang Xiaofan finally began to make a move.

"Do you think your sister is beautiful?"

Sun Qian's pretty face turned redder, her entire demeanor becoming flirtatious and full of charm.

"Extremely beautiful!"

Zhang Xiaofan was no longer satisfied with small gestures; he directly lifted Sun Qian into his arms.

Sun Qian looked voluptuous, but she was not heavy.

The moment Zhang Xiaofan lifted her, Sun Qian's eyes became more glazed.

Handsome, strong, and educated—that was the man of her dreams!

Although heaven had given her a disabled husband, it had given her a perfect first man!

Zhang Xiaofan laid Sun Qian down, and she hooked her arms around Zhang Xiaofan's neck in response.

Their faces were so close that they could feel each other's hot breaths.

"Xiaofan—"

Sun Qian wanted to say more, but Zhang Xiaofan sealed her seductive lips.

The room quickly heated up.

...

"Brother Zhao!"

"Brother Zhao!"

Just as Zhang Xiaofan was about to tear off Sun Qian's nightgown, an urgent knocking and shouting came from outside the courtyard.

Both of them involuntarily stopped their movements.

Outside, Zhao Tieniu opened the yard door.

"Brother Zhao, my baby has fainted! Please help me take her to the hospital!"

It was a woman's anxious voice.

"Alright, let's go!"

Zhao Tiezhu replied, and then the sound of hurried footsteps followed, bringing back quiet to the outside.

"Xiaofan—"

Sun Qian, with eyes full of seduction, prepared to continue with Zhang Xiaofan in her embrace.

But Zhang Xiaofan suddenly got up from the bed.

"Xiaofan, where are you going?"

"Sister Zhou's baby has fainted; I need to go check!"

Zhang Xiaofan quickly got dressed.

He had recognized the voice outside as belonging to Zhou Shuyi, who lived next door to his house.

As a man versed in medicine and knowing that Zhou Shuyi's child had fainted, there was no way he could continue with Sun Qian.

"Sister Sun, I'm sorry."

Zhang Xiaofan took one last look at Sun Qian's ample bosom and then quickly pushed the door open to leave.

Watching Zhang Xiaofan's retreating back, Sun Qian bit her lip, her gaze filled with deep sorrow. Couldn't heaven grant her just one night to thoroughly love this man?

...

Zhang Xiaofan rushed to Zhou Shuyi's home at the first opportunity.

Zhou Shuyi was a widow; her husband had passed away unexpectedly last year, leaving her with a child not yet a year old.

At that moment, Zhou Shuyi's eyes were red with tears as she prepared to board Zhao Tieniu's motorcycle, holding her child.

"Sister Zhou, let me have a look at the child," Zhang Xiaofan said as he quickly approached.

"Xiaofan?"

Zhou Shuyi and Zhao Tiezhu both paused in surprise upon seeing Zhang Xiaofan.

Zhou Shuyi didn't know that Zhang Xiaofan had returned to the village, hence her momentary shock. As for Zhao Tiezhu, he naturally thought Zhang Xiaofan was still at his wife's place.

"Xiaofan, my baby has fainted; we need to go to the hospital!"

Zhou Shuyi's eyes brimmed with tears as she clutched her child tightly, not handing the child over to Zhang Xiaofan.

"Sister-in-law, let Xiaofan have a look. He knows medicine!"

At that moment, Zhao Tiezhu spoke up, "Today, my wife was bitten by a poisonous snake, and it was Xiaofan who cured her!"

"Xiaofan, please save my child!"

Zhou Shuyi immediately saw Zhang Xiaofan as a lifesaver and quickly handed the child over to him.

"Xiaofan, has my child been poisoned?"

Zhou Shuyi's voice was tinged with tears.

Zhang Xiaofan carefully examined the child, his brow furrowing soon after.

The child's face was ashen purple, head arched back, eyes rolling upward, with a bit of white foam at his mouth, his facial muscles twitching.

"How long has this been going on?"

Zhang Xiaofan's expression grew serious, and he touched Zhou Shuyi's child's forehead.

"It's been over ten minutes. At first, I thought it was just a normal fever, so I didn't pay much attention."

"Bring a towel and some cold well water!"

Zhang Xiaofan carried the child into the room.

He was sure that Sister Zhou's child was suffering from febrile convulsions, and if he didn't act quickly, the consequences would be unthinkable.

First, Zhang Xiaofan laid the child on his side to prevent aspiration of vomit, then wiped away the foam at the mouth.

Next, he undid the child's clothes to ensure easy breathing.

Following that, he pressed on the child's 'Ren Zhong' and 'He Gu' acupoints with his hands to stop the spasms. In fact, using acupuncture to pierce the 'Ren Zhong', 'Yong Quan', 'Bai Hui', and 'He Gu' would be more effective, but since Zhang Xiaofan didn't have his silver needles with him, he could only use his hands.

After Zhang Xiaofan's intervention, the child's eyes and facial twitching slowly returned to normal.

However, the fever was still high, so Zhang Xiaofan soaked a towel in ice-cold well water and placed it on the child's forehead.

"Brother Tieniu, bring your white liquor here!"

Zhang Xiaofan said to Zhao Tieniu.

"Right away!"

Zhao Tieniu immediately ran out.

After the white liquor was brought, Zhang Xiaofan diluted it with a small amount of warm water.

He gently wiped it on the child's body to cool him down, aiming to lower the child's high temperature.

Zhou Shuyi, watching Zhang Xiaofan earnestly treating her child, felt her heart tense with anxiety.

A few minutes later, the child returned to normal.

Zhou Shuyi was overwhelmed with joy and tears, quickly embracing her child.

Zhao Tieniu, watching from the side, was filled with admiration.

"Brother Tieniu, you can go back first, I still need to watch the child here, in case there are any more complications."

Zhang Xiaofan said to Zhao Tieniu.

"Well, Xiaofan—"

Zhao Tieniu wanted to ask Zhang Xiaofan if he was still going to his house, or if the matter with his wife was settled?

"We'll talk about that later!"

Zhang Xiaofan signaled Zhao Tieniu with his eyes.

"Alright then."

Zhao Tieniu also knew it wasn't appropriate to discuss such matters in front of others, so he had no choice but to go home and ask his wife if she had gotten the seeds.

After Zhao Tieniu left, Zhang Xiaofan asked Zhou Shuyi, "Sister Zhou, your child looks pale and thin, clearly suffering from severe malnutrition. This means his immunity is weak, and he gets sick easily. Don't you breastfeed the child?"

As Zhang Xiaofan asked this question, his eyes glanced at Zhou Shuyi's abundant chest.

Though in terms of looks, Zhou Shuyi might fall short of Sun Qian, she had a figure no less striking than Sun Qian's, slender and graceful, filled with the charm of a beautiful young matron.

"Sigh, I don't have any milk, I've let down the child."

Zhou Shuyi spoke self-reproachfully, "We have no money at home, so we can't afford formula milk, that's why usually I just feed the baby rice porridge."

Zhou Shuyi's face was filled with helplessness. After her husband suffered an accident last year and went to the hospital for treatment, it drained all their savings, and yet he passed away, leaving her and her daughter all alone.

Zhang Xiaofan was surprised; how could Zhou Shuyi have no milk when she was so well-endowed?

"Sister Zhou, do you often feel an engorgement in front, but there's just no milk coming out?"

Zhang Xiaofan gestured to his own chest and asked.

Zhou Shuyi blushed with embarrassment, not expecting Zhang Xiaofan to ask such a question.

But considering that Zhang Xiaofan knew medical practices and was essentially a doctor, she nodded and said, "Right, it's always so uncomfortable, sometimes it's so bad I can't even sleep."

"Didn't you go to the hospital for a check? If you did, they would massage you to help with lactation," Zhang Xiaofan asked.
