But even so, after many consecutive days of filming in the snowy terrain, many members of the crew had caught colds, with some important actors falling ill, including Qin Jiran.
Qin Jiran, as the lead actor, had a substantial role and was also involved in the shooting process, taking on some directorial duties; the pressure was immense. On the third day after Su Yanyi's visit, Qin Jiran woke up feeling a heaviness in his head and slight fever throughout his body. Without asking, he knew he was probably sick.
Perhaps due to discomfort, Qin Jiran had woken up earlier than usual. Su Yanyi was still asleep, maintaining the posture she had grown accustomed to, half-lying in his arms, her hair messy and spread across the bed and over his arm, sleeping soundly and sweetly.
Even though he felt unwell, Qin Jiran couldn't bear to wake Yanyi in such a state. He simply watched her quietly, reminiscing every single moment spent with Yanyi, so beautiful yet so surreal.
