Qin Jiran originally only intended to try on his own, and it didn't matter to him whether he succeeded or failed. But the addition of Dragon Media did put some pressure on him, since it was his mother-in-law's business, and he needed to handle it with extra care.
"Just what? Losing your confidence?" Su Yanyi felt she was getting to understand Qin Jiran better and better. She could tell what the man meant just from his hesitant expression.
"There is some pressure, but I still have confidence," Qin Jiran admitted. Despite the pressure, it wasn't to the extent of having no confidence, especially since Yanyi deliberately said that to provoke him, there was no way he could back down now.
Even though he always felt somewhat inferior in front of Yanyi, as a man, and particularly as a rather outstanding one, he couldn't always feel inadequate. So, when it was time to affirm himself, he had to do so assertively, since he definitely did not want Yanyi to look down on him!
