Qin Jiran's feelings were complicated, and so were Su Yanyi's. As the night deepened, neither of them showed any intention of sleeping; nor did they seem to want to speak. They just lay there with closed eyes, each lost in their own thoughts, while also thinking about the other person beside them.
Neither of them had the experience of sharing a bed with someone else, and they both thought they would be unable to sleep. However, as they lay thinking, they fell asleep almost simultaneously, without an agreement to do so.

Qin Jiran didn't dare to move, swallowed silently, and stiffly let Su Yanyi treat him as a pillow, pressing down on him.
