Having finished eating, someone mentioned that they had booked a private room upstairs where they could play mahjong later in the evening.
Yu Xi was terrible at mahjong.
She immediately said she wasn't interested and wanted to go back to her room to sleep.
Gu Linhan looked at her and said, "Then let me walk you back to your room first."
Lei Ting said, "Hey, I think you just don't want to lose too badly, so you're trying to make a quick getaway."
Yu Xi shot him a glance, unmoved, and pulled Gu Linhan along, "I'm going back first, to sleep. You guys go and have fun."
After Gu Linhan had escorted Yu Xi back, he came out only to see Chen Xing already standing at the doorway.
Gu Linhan observed her as her gaze held a hint of persistence, watching him.
She knew Yu Xi was quite good-looking.
But, she didn't consider herself any less attractive.
