Su Heng snorted, swiped her card to buy a small bag for Yu Tian, and the two walked out arm in arm, respectfully seen off by the salesclerk.
As they left, they glanced over at two women just about to enter, one looked to be in her forties or fifties, while the other seemed to be in her sixties or seventies.
Especially the one in her sixties or seventies, she looked so unsophisticated with wrinkles covering her face.
The two held their heads high, swaggering past.
Yet at that moment...
"Hey, mother-in-law."
When Su Heng heard someone calling from behind, she turned around and saw Shu Ya's enthusiastic face. She was stunned, not thinking it was meant for her, and continued walking.
"Mother-in-law, I was actually waiting here especially for you."
Shu Ya quickly added another sentence.
Behind them, the salesclerk at the entrance started watching the scene unfold.
Su Heng felt her face flush, "What are you randomly shouting for, who's your mother-in-law?"
