She planned to tackle the problem from two ends. Ji Jing, that damned cur, was for the moment not someone she could easily fool, so she decided to start with her own dear, cheap father, trying to find a way to dispel his traitorous thoughts.
Rebellion was absolutely out of the question. Wasn't life good enough as it was?
Her initial plan was to send a letter directly to the Prince of Zhenbei, starting off with some pleasantries in the letter to let him know that this matter couldn't be rushed and needed to be approached gradually.
But sending a letter alone seemed a bit too deliberate, and what's more, if it were to be seen by Ji Jing, it might only deepen his suspicions, resulting in more loss than gain.
Therefore, Mingshu decided to start elsewhere.
