Yue Fuguang frowned as he stood in front of the stove, pinching a handful of herbs closely under his eyes. Hearing footsteps, his brow lifted slightly with mild displeasure as he turned around, "Didn't I say there's no need for people here..."
His voice trailed off as he saw Mingshu at the door, and his eyes turned to surprise, "What are you doing here?"
Mingshu entered, leaning on the door, her expression seemingly calm, "I was idle anyway, I came to see if you needed any help."
Yue Fuguang studied her face, hesitating slightly, "Don't you need to keep watch over Si Chu?"
Mingshu shook her head, "I left Zhui Ying to watch over there."
So Yue Fuguang no longer rejected her, scanning the surroundings and propping his chin, "Then you can help me sort out those herbs."
Mingshu followed his gaze and nodded assertively, "Okay."
