Mingshu awoke from her slumber, her gaze faintly bewildered.
Gazing at the familiar canopy above her head, she remained blankly stunned for quite a while, her eyes slightly unfocused.
She seemed still immersed in that dream and hadn't come back to her senses.
The sensation of being pierced through the heart by an arrow still lingered in her memory; for a moment, she couldn't distinguish whether it was a dream or... some real fragment of memory.
"Your Highness is awake? Please quickly drink the sobering soup; His Majesty specifically instructed it," Yun Zhi swept aside the curtain to enter and saw Mingshu with her large, dark almond eyes staring blankly into space, her expression vacantly lost as if she had been robbed of her soul.
Yun Zhi faltered, then laughed, "Is Your Highness still not sober yet?"
