He had swiftly changed his element from wood to wind after witnessing Loki's fiery aura. He was an experienced warrior and had a higher battle IQ than other random beastmen.
Wind and Fire clashed with each other covering the area with intense heat. Heat waves passed by and affected the surrounding beastmen's vision.

Joel swung his claws deflecting the strike and simultaneously slammed his feet on the ground.
An intense wind generated from his feet and struck Loki's body pushing him away.
He backflipped and landed firmly on the ground. Loki could have ended this battle quickly if he had wanted but he was here to experience exciting duels.
He felt the adrenaline rush flowing through his body.
