Chapter 2 - The Start

Hey! Yesterday was an absolute blast! I had so much fun like there was no tomorrow. And... today is tomorrow. This is the day I embark on my journey through my deserted, barren town down to the mysterious world, the world supposedly drenched with freedom and prosperity. The stuff I want to get. So, I got out of bed only a few minutes after midnight, ready to start the day. However, so early in the morning, no one else was. Now, I was taken aback by my excitement, causing me to do something I already regret. I took my previously-packed bag and headed out. No goodbyes or farewells or thank you's, I just left. I feel like I'll regret that. I sort of already am. You will not believe how fast walking through piles of sand gets boring. I'll just tell you. In about twelve minutes. Idiotically, like- an hour and a half into my journey, I almost turned back. But no. I am now eighteen hours of walking and occasionally running down from my house. This will be a while. Regardless, I am surrounded by beauty as of now. This sandy town is hideous, but I've found a beautiful pond which is where I am writing this. There's some shade-blessing trees here as well. Now, let me tell you about some other stuff in my bag. My weapons. Yeah, I make weapons! They're sick, too. My mother has a bunch of metal and wood around the house so she can slave away for hours and hours a day to the corrupt elite. Regardless, I took this to my advantage. I once, while making my Blistering Bash mace, took so much that my mom ran out of metal to use and got arrested for half a month. Yeah. Anyway, let me start with my first. My precious baby. I don't really have a name for it as it stands, but it's really cool! I used tree branch from the outskirts of town; the tree branches from the tree my mom got me while coming home from a trip. There are two blades, one a poison-tipped claw-like scrap of metal and one made of hundreds of tiny pieces of metal all melted together. Trust me; when you rub your palm on the steel, you'll feel a lick of heaven- er- that's the saying right? Something like that? Anyway, yeah! I even got a little obsidian chip on the blade. Cool, right? Anyway, that's only one of my several. The next one I made was and still is my finest work. I made a mace. There's a little piece of gold-colored mineral on the bottom, connected to the ball of the mace by tight chains that I hold onto while taking a swing. And the coolest part? The mace is always burning. See, when I was still making it, while super-heating the metal, it came out piping hot, of course. So, my little eight-year-old self decided that this was its use. I would like the metal with a match before making a clown of my foes with one mighty swing! Yeah, eight years old. Pretty cool if I do say so myself. I plan to do some more, for sure, but I can't do that now. I've barely eaten today since I was so worried about my food. I just had a snack two hours ago. That's it. Oh, also I'm drinking water from the pond in this scenic view. Yeah, I'm done writing. Now, I'm going to take a nap here and venture through the night. See you tomorrow!
