————————————

"See you later....Mikasa.." Eren whispered, his voice a fragile whisper as his lips brushed her bloodstained cheek. Her skin, though cold and battered, was the only warmth left in his world.

Gently, he lowered her to the rubble-strewn wall, his jacket draped over her body like a thin shield against the devastation surrounding them.

Sigh....

A long, ragged sigh escaped him.

The dying sun bathed the ruins of Stohess in a sickly orange hue, the last remnants of warmth cutting through the chaos. Eren rose to his feet, his silhouette framed against the towering wall as he looked down at what remained of the district once a home to countless lives.

Below, Annie trudged forward, her colossal form smashing through the remnants of homes and bodies alike. Every step was a monstrous symphony of bones breaking, of lives extinguished, of hope crumbling beneath her.

It was paralyzing—the sheer destruction, the lives snuffed out like they meant nothing.

Among the rubble, a bloodied little girl in a sky-blue dress, clutching a doll that had seen better days, staggered aimlessly. Her cries—"Mommy... Mommy..."—were a whisper in the cacophony of death.

Annie's foot came down without hesitation, crushing her fragile form into the earth, her frail body now a silent echo of what she once was.

Eren's breath caught, his chest tightening with a pain too deep for words. How... how can someone be so heartless? His eyes flicked between Mikasa's unconscious form and the towering figure of Annie, now bathed in the same dying light.

Annie's crimson gaze met his, her lips curling into a venomous grin as she relished the carnage. "Don't worry, Yeager," she sneered, her voice thick with malice.

"I'll kill every last one of them. Every. Single. One. Everyone you ever cared about, dead at my feet. And you'll watch. You'll see their blood stain the streets, and their screams will haunt you."

She laughed, the sound cold and sharp as steel. "And Mikasa? That fucking bitch?" Her voice dropped, dripping with cruelty. "I'll burn her alive, make sure her screams echo through every corner of this dying district."

Heartbeat

"You thought you could save humanity, didn't you? You thought you were their hero. But you'll watch them all die, one by one. Your only power is to witness."

With a flick of her hand, Annie crushed two more scouts she had captured, their blood splattering like raindrops against the ruins. Their dying gasps hung in the air, a cruel chorus to her mocking laughter. Eren's teeth ground together, the pressure in his chest unbearable, the weight of his failure suffocating.

Heartbeat

The sound thundered in his ears.

Heartbeat.

Each pulse of his blood carried with it a fury that clawed its way to the surface, an uncontrollable storm that twisted his insides into molten rage.

His vision blurred, not with tears, but with a blinding, all-encompassing need for vengeance. The world narrowed into a pinpoint of hatred—a seething, burning need to destroy Annie Leonhart. To end her, once and for all.

His heartbeat became a war drum, loud and relentless, each thump stoking the fire in his chest. The faces of those he lost—Oluo, Gunther, Eld—their voices whispered in the cracks of his mind, demanding justice, screaming for retribution. The pain of Mikasa's lifeless form, cradled moments ago, was the final lash to his soul.

His world had shrunk to a singular truth: Annie must die.

With trembling hands and burning eyes, Eren made his silent vow. Every muscle tensed, every nerve screamed with purpose. There was nothing left but the fury in his heart and the need to tear Annie apart—limb by limb, bone by bone. The weight of the dead hung on his shoulders, and he would carry that burden to the very end.

(Here goes nothing. I thought of this scene ever since I started writing this fiction..... Wanted to bring back the classic.... Don't mind me.)

Eren's body trembled, his fists clenched so tightly that blood seeped from the deep cuts in his palms. His jaw tightened, muscles coiled like a spring about to snap. His voice, when it came, was a raw, guttural snarl that echoed through the ruins, filled with every ounce of his rage and pain.

"The truth is," he growled, "I ain't no hero, no justice, or anything like that. But anyone who tries to hurt my Mikasa... IS GONNA PAYYYYYYY!!!!"

With a roar that seemed to tear through the very air, Eren hurled himself off the towering 70-meter wall, plummeting down without hesitation or fear.

The wind howled around him, but his eyes were locked on Annie, pure fury in his gaze. In midair, his teeth tore into the flesh of his hand, blood splattering as the transformation ignited within him.

In an explosion of light and power, Eren's Titan form erupted into being. His massive fist, burning with raw energy, slammed into Annie's face with unrelenting force.

"ARGHHHHHH!" Annie grunted, her hardened face blocking the devastating impact. She was launched backward, crashing into the remnants of the broken city. Buildings crumbled under her as her massive form collided with the earth.

For a moment, the ground shook violently. Eren's Titan landed his form brimming with power, steam rising from his body as his green glowing eyes locked onto Annie.

Though Annie was not severely hurt, her frustration flared. The surprise attack had caught her off guard, and now she struggled to push herself up from the wreckage. Her eyes glinted with rage.

"Asshole...." She barked her gaze fixed at Eren.

Levi skillfully maneuvered through the debris, his hooks embedding in the ruined structures as he zipped through the air. His destination: Erwin, who stood stoic, his eyes locked on the unfolding scene.

Erwin's expression remained unreadable, his hair flickering in the soft breeze that did nothing to calm the tension in the air. For a brief moment, Levi's gaze lingered on both Erwin and Hange, before it shifted to the battlefield where Attack Titan was beginning to rise.

The air was thick with the scent of blood, sweat, and the charred remains of the battlefield. Eren's Titan form stood tall, steam curling off its body, but its attention was elsewhere.

Ignoring the shattered buildings, the bodies strewn about the ground, and the distant sounds of scouts shouting orders, Eren locked onto Annie.

She was a menacing silhouette in the distance, standing hundreds of meters away, her cold gaze unwavering. "Looks like you're a bit too desperate to get killed...." Annie spoke with a fucking grin.

"Eh? What is he doing...." Annie's expression turned confused really really confused....

"NO... EREN, DON'T DO IT!!" Levi's voice rang out, sharp and desperate, but it didn't seem to reach Eren's ears.

Eren's muscles tensed, his Titan form towering over the carnage as he raised his massive hand, bringing it close to his face. His expression was one of pure rage, his eyes gleaming with a primal fury as he clenched his teeth.

Without hesitation, Eren's jaws parted, and he sank his sharp teeth into his own hand. The crunch of bone and sinew echoed in the air, his titan skin tearing beneath his bite followed by crimson traces of light clouding Eren's form.

Blood splattered from the deep wound, mingling with the dust and debris that swirled around him, but Eren didn't flinch. His heartbeat thundered in his ears, the pain fueling the anger coursing through him.

And that's when it all begin...

Dark clouds began to gather in a wink, swirling above the battlefield like a wrathful storm, black and ominous. The air thickened with static, heavy and charged, as if nature itself was holding its breath in anticipation. Eren's body trembled, his titan form standing jaw seeping deeper into the flesh of his titan.

"The heck is happening...." Armin gulped watching from the towering wall.

Something was shifting—something beyond rage, beyond pain. The very ground beneath Eren seemed to pulse in response, vibrating with the fury that built within his core.

Then, it happened.

With an earth-shattering crack, the sky was torn apart by a storm of scarlet lightning. Hundreds of jagged bolts of thunder struck down in rapid succession, slamming into Eren's Attack Titan like the wrath of the gods themselves.

Each bolt split the sky, illuminating the ruins of the battlefield, casting an eerie glow over the shattered buildings and the broken bodies.

"AGHHHHHHHHHHHH..."

The force of the strikes sent tremors through the earth, and the ground cracked and buckled beneath Eren, sending debris flying in every direction.

BOOM.

The deep scarlet shockwave exploded outward, obliterating everything in its path. Houses crumbled to dust, trees were uprooted, and the already broken streets were torn apart like fragile glass.

Scouts who had been standing near the edges of the battle were thrown back, their gasps drowned out by the deafening roar of the storm.

A massive crater, deep and jagged, formed beneath Eren, carving a scar into the battlefield as if the very land itself was surrendering to his power.

In the center of it all, Eren's titan was no longer the same.

The transformation was nothing short of legendary. Crimson flames ignited from his body, wrapping around his titan form in a scorching inferno. They danced and crackled along his skin, lighting the dark battlefield with an otherworldly glow.

His once blunt teeth sharpened into vicious, razor-like fangs, gleaming dangerously in the dim light. The black hair that fell over his face had grown, longer now, flowing wildly in the furious wind, as if the very tempest itself had been summoned by him.

His eyes, no longer the ordinary emerald they had once been, blazed a deep, fiery sapphire—cold yet burning with an intensity that made the air itself quiver.

Veins of molten lava coursed through his body, glowing beneath the surface of his flesh, cracking through his skin like volcanic magma ready to erupt.

His muscles, once strong, were now bulging with an unnatural power, his entire form pulsating with raw, untamed energy. The ground beneath him continued to tremble, unable to withstand the overwhelming force emanating from him.

Annie stood frozen in the distance, her hardened composure faltering as she witnessed the beast before her. This was not the Eren Yeager she had fought before. This was something far beyond that—a primal force of destruction, a titan born of vengeance and pure rage.

"ARGHHHHHHHHHHH....."

Eren let out a roar, an ear-splitting, earth-rending sound that reverberated across the battlefield, the flames on his body flaring higher in response. His newly-formed claws dug into the ground, leaving deep gashes in the already scarred earth. He took one slow, deliberate step forward, the weight of his presence enough to shake the crater around him.

"Tch... even now you're nothing..." Annie spat, her voice laced with disdain. Gathering the depths of her divine power, she focused her energy, her fingers hardening into dagger-like projections.

With a primal growl, she launched herself toward Eren, her titan form a fearsome sight. Each step she took reverberated through the ground, the sheer force of her movement sending shockwaves through the air, threatening to shake the very foundations of the battlefield.

"I'll kill you right he—" Annie shouted, fury propelling her forward, her armored fist raised to deliver a crushing blow. Eren, sensing the incoming onslaught, leaned back just enough to avoid the initial strike, his muscles coiling like a spring.

With instinct and rage igniting within him, Eren retaliated. He unleashed a devastating punch from mere inches away, the force radiating outward as his fist met the hardened surface of Annie's armor.

The sound of impact was deafening, like thunder cracking in the stillness of the afternoon, sending cracks spider-webbing across her hardened azure armour.

"ARGHHH...." Annie grunted blood dripping from her mouth as the force of Eren's blow reverberated through her body. Eren slowly retracted his arm that impaled her torso making her grunt in pain.

A gaping hole was visible right through her gut, the ragged edges seeping blood. "Ack..." Annie gasped, her voice strained as she clutched her side. Her Titan energy surged, filling the wound in a violent rush, steam billowing from the rapid regeneration.

"You fucker... I'll kill you!" she spat, blood and saliva leaving her mouth as she forced the words out through clenched teeth trying to strike the Titan's fierce face.

Eren's movements were fluid, almost instinctual. He slightly dipped low, his fist coiling with power as it connected with her hardened chin in a thunderous uppercut, the impact sending shockwaves through the air parting the dark clouds above.

"AH..." A guttural cry escaped Annie's lips as her titan's head jerked back violently, uprooted from its position and sent hurtling upwards. For a fleeting moment, time seemed to freeze, and there Annie was, exposed and vulnerable, fear etched across her features.

"Tr... Transf... Transform..." Eren commanded, his voice heavy, ragged with the weight of fury. His eyes blazed with a mix of anger and desperation, locked on the enemy who had caused so much suffering.

Reeling from the brutal assault, Annie's breath quickened. Panic set in as she realized her predicament. Desperate and knowing she had no other option, she swiftly bit her hand, feeling the surge of power that came with transformation.

Lightning crackled around her as her body shimmered and shifted. Levi stood at the edge of the chaos, his gaze cast downward, the weight of the unfolding nightmare and guilt pressing heavily on his shoulders.

His teeth ground together, and his hands clenched tight, knuckles white with tension. "Asshole... Why wouldn't you listen" he whispered, frustration boiling inside him as he shifted his focus to Eren, who had become little more than a mindless beast, consumed by rage and the primal instincts of his titan form.

Annie, feeling the surge of divine power within her, began to transform for the fourth time, her flesh and bones shimmering into existence. But before she could fully emerge, the air was electrified with tension. Her completely developed, fully hardened fist shot forward like a missile, aimed straight at Eren.

The Attack Titan expressionless caught Annie's fist mid-strike. The impact reverberated through the air, his other hand slowly gripped Annie's hardened shoulder as she resisted, before mercilessly ripping the entire arm free from its hardened socket.

The crystalline armor shattered under the pressure of his grip, shards glinting in the dim light as Eren's veins sparked with energy, his fiery skin radiating a fierce glow amidst the surrounding darkness.

"AHHHHHH!" Annie's scream tore through the desolate district, hoarse and desperate, echoing off the crumbling walls around them. The sheer force of Eren's assault left her staggering, panic creeping into her thoughts like poison. How did he get so... strong? she muttered, her heart pounding, eyes widening. Instinctively, her other hand shot forward for a desperate strike.

"Hngh..." The Attack Titan's sharp teeth clamped onto her hardened wrist with a vicious grip. The armor shattered under the crushing force, followed by the sickening snap as her entire arm was obliterated. Blood sprayed, and there she stood—handless, vulnerable.

Before she could even react furthur Eren quickly grasped her leg, lifting her effortlessly into the air. The world around them blurred as he spun her in a circular motion before slamming her down into the ground head on.

The earth quaked beneath them, and the impact shattered everything beneath, sending a shockwave rippling outward.

Eren's titan form towered above the chaos, an embodiment of fury and vengeance, its skin alight with a fierce crimson hue that flickered like molten lava against the shadows.

Muscles bulged with sinewy power, each flex a testament to his unyielding determination. Dark strands of hair flowed like a tempest, a living crown of chaos framing his feral visage.

Annie's entire armor disintegrated upon impact, her titan form vulnerable and exposed. Eren's burning skin left black finger patterns across her ankle as he drove her down.

Annie's bones shattered like glass. Blood spewed from her mouth, the taste of defeat flooding her senses as she struggled to comprehend the depths of Eren's newfound power.

Eren's titan loomed above the broken battlefield, a monstrous figure of flames and fury. His massive hand reached down, wrapping around Female Titan's limp form, lifting her like a rag doll. Her body, imprinted into the ground from the brutal impact, hung lifelessly.

With one swift motion, Eren's other hand tore her titan's neck from its shoulders, severing it in one brutal display of dominance. His eyes, burning with a sapphire glow, locked onto Annie's human form, which barely clung to consciousness. Blood spraying from her mouth her body shaking from the injuries she had sustained.

He slowly tore her figure out of the tendons of the Titan's nape before lifted her figure, his titan hand beginning to redden, the heat emanating from him intensifying. His veins sparkled with an ominous crimson glow, molten like the earth's core, brimming with unholy power.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHH! PLEASEEEEEEE... STOPPPPPPPPPP... IT HURTS!" Annie's voice erupted into agonized screams, her mind coming to senses, her body engulfed in searing flames that pulsed from Eren's hand.

The sapphire flames consumed her flesh, their eerie glow reflecting the suffering and terror in her eyes. Her screams echoed through the empty, ravaged streets, filling the district with the haunting sound of her agony as her body began to burn, the flames licking at her very soul.

Skin blackened melting exposing raw burning flesh, hair erupted in flames, azure eyes bulging out of it's orbit, blood sizzling as her white bones exposed to thin air.

Just as the fire threatened to consume her completely, Annie heard a voice—a voice that seemed to come from the very depths of her being. "Annie..." Her father's voice, a twisted mixture of love and hate, echoed in her ears.

It sparked something deep within her, a will to live and a surge of raw, divine power coursed through her charred skin. The sky answered her call with a blinding strike of lightning, crashing down upon both her and Eren. The world flashed in white, and for the fifth time, Annie transformed.

Eren's titan stood back, watching as the transformation took hold, a sinister satisfaction creeping into his blazing features. Annie, now fully transformed, emerged from the wreckage.

But this time, she was terrified. The Female Titan materialized, but with a thick, desperate layer of hardened armor enveloping her entire body, seeking protection, seeking escape.

"I... I need to get away..." Annie whispered to herself, tears streaming down her face, her body shaking in fear and exhaustion. She wanted to run, to escape the unrelenting assault, but her resolve was shattered.

Eren's titan moved, each step a tremor in the earth, slowly advancing towards her. "GYAHHHHH!" Annie, desperate, unleashed a fierce battle cry and charged at him again like an idiot.

But Eren was already there. His massive hands caught hers with terrifying ease, and before she could even react, he headbutted her with bone-crushing force. The sound of impact rang through the air, her hardened armor splintering like glass under the brutal attack causing brain damage to her titan.

Annie's titan crumpled to the ground once again, her body unable to withstand the relentless assault. Eren stood over her fallen form, before slamming his feet into her body, impaling right in the center as a fountain of crimson left her body. Annie's screams pierced the air as her titan's form was crushed beneath him, her pain and helplessness flooding her senses.

"G... G... Get... up..." Eren's titan growled, his voice a monstrous echo, but Annie didn't move. She couldn't. She was broken, both in body and spirit.

Without hesitation, Eren grabbed hold of her again, his hands tearing through her titan's flesh like paper. He ripped her titan form apart, revealing her human body once more, unconscious, helpless. His dead expression was filled with raw, maddening rage, as if Annie's defeat was an insult to his fury.

With precision and cruel intent, Eren's massive fingers around Annie's exposed arms and, with slow, deliberate and gentle pull, he ripped them apart. The sheer force of the act sent shockwaves through her body, forcing her back into the world of consciousness.

In stark contrast, Eren's words echoed through Armin's mind which were a haunting refrain of vengeance. "I'll rip her apart... limb by limb... and not even our friendship can save her..."

"ARGGHHHHHHHHH!" Annie screamed pulling Armin out of his thoughts, her voice hoarse, broken by the relentless torment. Tears streamed down her face, her body trembling violently, every nerve aflame with agony.

All Annie could do was sob, the reality of her nightmare overwhelming her. Eren's titan bent down, his breath hot and hellish against her face. His voice was low, guttural.

"Tr... tRanSformmm..." He commanded, his massive hands gripping her tighter. With a sickening crunch, he ripped her legs from her body. Annie's torso fell limply to the ground, barely alive, barely conscious.

Desperately, her divine power responded one last time. Lightning struck her again, and she transformed once more. But this time, something was wrong. Something was terribly wrong.

"What? Why... why do I feel so... so weak? What's happening to me?!" Annie gasped, panic tightening her chest as she stared at her shaky Titan legs. Her mind raced in disbelief. She tried to stand, but it was futile. Her strength, once her most terrifying weapon, was slipping away. She was exposed—vulnerable.

Her body hardened again, though this time the layer was thinner, fragile even. Annie's heart pounded as the inevitable loomed closer. This wasn't just defeat—this was the beginning of a nightmare. And there was nothing she could do to stop it. "I should run... Yeah... I can..."

She turned, desperation clouding her vision, but froze. Her eyes locked onto the soldiers surrounding her—members of the Scout Regiment, the Garrison Regiment, even the Military Police.

Among them, her friends from the 104th Cadet Corps—Krista, Jean, Ymir, Connie... Their faces were pale, etched with fear, sweat dripping as they took in the scene.

Her gaze flickered with false hope. "Wait... it's good, right? They'll help me, right? They're my friends..." But as she gulped, her stomach twisted into knots. They didn't move. Blades gripped tightly in their hands, they just watched—silent, unmoving. She felt a cold realization seep into her bones.

Just as a wave of realization washed over her, suddenly Eren's hand shot out like a vice grabbing the sides of her titan's head, his fingers digging into her flesh.

The molten lava dripping from his hands started to pour into her mouth, melting her tongue, her throat, her screams of agony swallowed by the burning.

Annie's titan form thrashed, trying to escape, but Eren held her firm, ripping her mouth open wider as molten lava cascaded down her throat. Her insides burned from the heat, melting from within.

With a force that defied reason, Eren's titan ripped her jaw off entirely, pulling it away with one swift motion. Blood and molten crystal erupted from the gaping wound, her titan's face unrecognizable as it slumped forward in grotesque agony. Annie's screams were lost within her mind, where her human form still lurked- still trapped.

Eren wasn't done not yet.

His titan slammed its fist into her torso with the strength of a mountain, driving straight through her hardened skin like it was paper. Annie's titan convulsed violently as his hand clawed through her, pulling out chunks of her ribcage, her organs melting under the pressure of his molten grip.

Eren twisted his wrist, sending shockwaves of agony through her body as her bones cracked, and molten lava seeped deeper into her frame. As her form began to disintegrate.

Suddenly, with ruthless precision, he tore her titan open, exposing Annie's fragile human form deep inside. She lay there, barely conscious, her body trembling as she tried to comprehend the pain. Her eyes fluttered open, meeting the horrifying sight of Eren's molten hands reaching toward her.

"No... no, please..." Annie whispered, but her voice was lost under the weight of her suffering. Eren seemed to listen nothing as his hand grabbed her figure once again wrapping his palm around her battered body.

With a sudden and cruel snap, Eren crushed Annie under his tight grip, her body rendered helpless within the immense power of the Attack Titan. "Ackk...."

The only thing visible was her head, bowed in submission, as blood spewed from her mouth uncontrollably. In that moment, the world around them seemed to fade, and only god knew the pain and misery she was enduring, each moment a torment that stretched into eternity.

Suddenly, a bolt of lightning crashed down from the turbulent sky, illuminating the battlefield in a blinding flash.

Annie's figure flickered into being once more, partially transformed, but she lay motionless in the cratered earth, unable to move. She had expended every last ounce of energy in her attempts to heal and defend herself.

Eren stood before her, a titan consumed by fury and despair. "URGHHHHHH...." Suddey the Attack Titan grunted, a visceral growl escaping its throat as it spewed a torrent of blood onto the ground.

NOTE FOR READERS!!

The Berserk form—a great weapon and yet, a curse to the Attack Titan's wielder. Only the strongest of the strong can tap into its devastating power. This form demands every last ounce of energy the body can muster to wield it.

The fire, the searing magma-like force that fuels its strength—all of it draws from the very life of the user. It was the Berserk form that allowed Eren Kruger and his fortunate ancestors to gain control of the Attack Titan.

In the original series, the origins of Eren Kruger's acquisition of the Attack Titan remain shrouded in mystery. But in this version, during the Great Titan War, there existed a legendary wielder: Atticus, the strongest Attack Titan of his era.

In a moment of desperation, he unleashed the Berserk mode. The raw power was unmatched, but the toll it took was fatal. His body, drained of energy, collapsed, and with his death, Marley lost the Attack Titan. The Titan's power was passed to the next Eldian born into the world—Eren Kruger's ancestors.

From that moment, Kruger's bloodline carried the power, eventually becoming known as the Restorationists, destined to reclaim their place in history. But the full story—the rise and fall of that legacy—will unfold in Season 3, my friends.

"SCOUTS, QUICK! RETRIEVE EREN AND ANNIE, GO!!!" Erwin's voice cut through the chaos, laced with urgency and panic. This was the very moment he was waiting for: Annie drained to the bone and to retrieve Eren as soon as possible. And he was damn well aware Eren won't let her live since..... It....was.... not....Eren.... who.... controlled the.... titan.... but.... a.... mindless.... beast.

Levi was the first to spring into action, his eyes wide, teeth clenched in fear. His gaze remained fixed on Eren, who hunched low, crushing the nape of the Female Titan and dragging Annie from her armored shell.

"Please... I... I beg you... Eren... I... I don't want to die..." Annie pleaded, desperation clawing at her voice.

Eren paused, her words piercing through the rage clouding his mind. For a heartbeat, he hesitated, but the sound of her plea ignited a tempest within him.

"ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHH..." Eren roared in fury, a primal sound that echoed across the desolate battlefield, causing Annie to scream in terror, her body trembling uncontrollably.

Tears streamed down her battered face, and the bruises that marred her skin told a story of her relentless brutality.

Here she stood, the architect of countless innocent lives lost, now begging for her own. Eren's veins, which had begun to dim with exhaustion, suddenly flared back to life, glowing with a furious intensity. Saliva and blood dripped from his clenched jaws, mingling with the blood that painted his lips.

His long hair whipped wildly around him, the embodiment of the demon that had taken residence within. Sapphire eyes blazed with uncontainable rage, and his fiery skin radiated a heat that mirrored the storm brewing inside him.

This was Eren's last resort—a power known only to Levi and Erwin. A force they had restricted him from using, fearing the consequences of losing him to the darkness that lurked just beneath the surface.

But fuck it all... "I don't fucking care anymore..." Words trailed off in Eren's mind, raw and unrestrained, as his massive hand loomed over Annie, casting a dark shadow across her tear-streaked face.

Flashback

"Annie... I know they'll despise you... They'll loathe you for who you are... But promise me... you'll fight until the end... And... and come back... That's the only thing I want from you... as the worst father ever."

A flash of memory pierced through Annie's mind, her father's voice echoing in her ears. "Dad... I... I'm sorry..." she whispered, her heart heavy with regret.

"Eren... STOP!" Armin's voice rang out from the distance, desperate, his plea cutting through the chaos. For a brief moment, Eren hesitated, his hand hovering near Annie casting a shadow on her teary face ready to accept the inevitable.

"We need her... we can gather vital information from her... af.. after that, you can kill her!" Armin's breath hitched, the weight of his words heavy.

It seemed like clarity was finally returning to his thoughts. But this time Eren wasn't thinking straight anymore. Fury had overtaken him, blinding him to reason, clouding every ounce of his judgment.

It didn't matter. As long as Annie Leonhart was alive, the anger inside him would fester, suffocating him more and more.

Eren seemed to absorb his words, yet his face was a mask of detachment, devoid of emotion. "Oi, Eren... ABANDON THAT TITAN RIGHT NOW!!! WE'VE GOT HER..." Levi commanded, his tone steely. Erwin echoed the urgency, but Eren merely growled in defiance.

"ARGHHHHHHH..." Eren's roar was defiant, but before anyone could intervene, Annie made her move, desperation driving her actions. She realized that if the truth about Marley was revealed, both she and her father would face certain death—by Eren's hand or Marley's.

"Looks like you've left me no choice, idiot..." Levi muttered, drawing his blades with a grim determination. " Sorry partner—" But before he could finish, a deafening crimson lightning struck, illuminating the battlefield with an ominous glow.

In an instant, Annie's form began to shimmer and dissolve, enveloped in a massive crystalline structure, shielding her completely. Eren stumbled back slightly from the shock of the strike, momentarily disoriented.

Before anyone could comprehend what had happened, Annie's entire figure was encased in thick crystal, her eyes closed, fingers entwined, finally retreating into a safe haven. "What... Annie's...?" Armin stammered, disappointment flooding his voice.

The others mirrored his feelings, their faces etched with despair. "Damnit...." Frustrated Jean shouted. "Shit... She's always one step ahead....." Hange complained angered thinking all lives lost were for nothing.

Without warning, Eren seized the crystalline prison, lifting it high into the air as if it were a mere ball in his palm. "Whut??" Hange said unable to comprehend what he was doing.

"HNGH..." The Attack Titan grunted, straining against the weight of his rage and wrath as his colossal fingers began to tighten around the crystal, the air grew thick with anticipation.

His eyes blazed with a fierce intensity, and a low, rumbling growl built in his throat. "FOR GUNTHUR, FOR ELD, FOR OLUO, FOR EVERY LAST DREAM YOU CRUSHED... YOU'LL PAY FOR EVERYTHING.... FOR MIKASA..." he roared, his voice echoing like thunder across the battlefield.

The tension was palpable; the assembled soldiers, wide-eyed and breathless, could only watch in horror and fascination. Armin's heart raced as he called out, "Eren! We need her alive!"

But Eren, consumed by rage and vengeance, paid no heed. As his grip continued to close around the crystal, the sheer force of his power sent shockwaves through the ground. With every passing moment, the light within his veins flared brighter, illuminating the darkness around him.

Suddenly, hairline cracks began to spiderweb across the surface of the crystal, shimmering like fragile glass under immense pressure. The sound was a soft but ominous crunch, signaling that Eren's fury was not to be contained. " I'LL FUCKING KILL YOU ALL" he bellowed, his roar echoing like a death knell, sending chills through everyone present.

The battlefield held its breath, caught between the spectacle of power and the grim reality of what was to come.

As the air crackled with Eren's overwhelming power, a flash of steel suddenly cut through the tension. Out of nowhere, Levi appeared, his figure a blur as he dashed toward Eren. With a swift, precise strike, he slashed the nape of the Attack Titan, severing the connection that held Eren in that monstrous form.

"It's not a good idea to kill our key evidence.... You idiot " Levi whispered, his voice cutting through the roar of rage.

In an instant, the colossal form faltered, and Eren's massive frame began to collapse, the sheer weight of his wrath dissipating like smoke. As he fell, the almost shattered crystal slipped from his grasp, plummeting to the ground below.

The sound of the crystal striking the earth was deafening, a sharp crack that echoed through the battlefield. Everyone watched, their hearts pounding, as the cracks spread wider, shimmering ominously in the fading light. The powerful aura surrounding Eren faded, leaving a heavy silence in its wake.

—————————————

"Oh God... What...???" Hange whispered, her voice barely audible, her gaze fixed on Eren, who was cradled tightly in Levi's arms.

His body was a battlefield of its own—deep wounds, charred skin, a face marked with scars, his complexion pale and sickly. His breaths were shallow, no steam rising from his wounds, no sign of healing. In every sense, he was standing at death's door.

Levi's grip tightened around him, the weight of the scene striking him with cruel familiarity. It was the same feeling he'd had five years ago during the expedition, when he cradled little Eren's limp form only because for a split second he tapped into Berserk form which melted his body to the bone.

"WHERE THE FUCK IS THE MEDICAL TEAM, CALL THEM NOW!" Levi's voice boomed through the chaos, his command filled with urgency. Soldiers and medics rushed to respond, their faces pale as they witnessed Eren's near-lifeless form.

Crowds began to gather, a sea of confusion and concern as they looked upon their hope—the boy who had carried humanity's fate on his shoulders—now reduced to this fragile state.

Atop the wall, Mikasa lay unconscious, her body broken and battered. Down below, Eren fought a different kind of battle.

"Eren?" Armin gasped, falling to his knees beside his friend. Tears flowed freely down his face, guilt and sorrow overwhelming him. He had begged Eren to stop, but now... seeing him like this, barely holding on, the weight of that decision crushed him.

Soon the medical team arrived swiftly, tending to both Ackermans in different rooms. Mikasa's ribs were treated with easily, her Ackerman body allowing her to withstand considerate amount of damage.

But with Eren... the doctors exchanged worried glances, unsure of what to do. His injuries were far beyond anything they had dealt with before. His titan powers should have healed him by now, yet he lay still, lifeless.

What they weren't aware of was that the life of Eren Yeager was in his own hands. If he had the will to live, he'll live and strive in this hell. But if his spirit wavered, if he wanted to escape the endless pain and torment, the choice would be much easier, death and it's comforting embrace.

Keep fighting or give up!

"Keep fighting or give up... What's your decision, Eren?" The voice was familiar, hauntingly so. A mysterious figure with long, flowing hair and piercing emerald eyes appeared behind him, gripping his shoulders firmly.

Eren stood in the vast, infinite expanse of the Paths once again, facing the colossal, glowing tree. Its branches stretched far beyond the stars, connecting every life and fate in existence.

Eren's eyes, illuminated with the divine glow of the Paths, reflected his internal struggle. His body ached for rest. A part of him longed for peace, to let go of the unrelenting burdens he had carried for so long. And yet, another part of him—deep within—refused to stop. Not yet.

His death would spell the end, not just for him but for humanity. He couldn't let it happen. For Mikasa's sake, For Armin's sake and For everyone's sake he won't give up.

"Sorry... I can't." Eren's voice was barely a whisper, but it carried the weight of his resolve. He reached out, his hand grasping the ominous white glowing tree. As he turned his gaze backward, the mysterious figure— disappeared into the dust.

Eren's lips curled into a faint smile. His voice was soft, almost tender, as he spoke to the figure before it vanished into the vastness of the Paths.

"See you later... Eren."
