"Emm.. okay, " Rosita responded.
"Were you here when Lois was introduced to the family? "
Rosita smiled, "I was hoping you'd ask this question soon, "
It's almost like she knows everything which in this case, she actually does.
"Why though? "
"Just a hunch. Hmm.. where do I start? " She asked, placing her index finger underneath her chin as she stared upon the ceiling. "Okay, I've got it, " She giggled, returning her gaze to me.

The first time Lois stepped foot into the Wellington household was about ten years ago, the family was having lunch at that time and Logan was in his finals in highschool. At that time, Logan had transferred from his school in Scotland after his grandfather's passing and was struggling to make friends here in England.
The day he brought Lois, they were to work on a group project together in his room. The family received Lois with open arms; the Wellington household has always believed in creating a safe and warm place for guests and they gave that to Lois. They further asked her about a few things, she introduced herself as Lois Dawson and like Logan, she had just joined the institution newly but had few experiences. Madame Theresa urged her to help Logan around and get familiar with the environment.
After Lois left that day, Theresa's necklace that was left on display in the living room to be shipped for an auction in Germany suddenly went missing. The necklace, if I remember correctly, was called HAVEN, a limited collection that was designed in just two pieces by a popular designer in Paris. A maid after interrogation confessed that she had seen Lois around the area and Theresa flared up.
It's no news that Logan had been a solid defender of his wife even as a youngster, he had a brawl with his mother and defended Lois all the way even after CCTV footage captured her around the necklace but there was no stable evidence that she had taken it.
Theresa was still mourning for her father at that time and decided to leave the matter on the condition that Lois would never step foot into their house again and that Logan should dissociate himself from her.
Months later, Logan gets admission into Oxford University and leaves thereafter where he unites with Lois again in Balliol college, they start courting behind the family's back and months after graduation, Logan brings Lois back to the house as the woman he wants to marry.
Hell was let loose and Logan fought with everything just to get married to her. In a bid to make him happy, the family gave their approval. Things got worse for Lois when she opened up about her premature ovarian failure. The family had allegedly planned to make sure Logan divorced her but their plans were canceled weeks later when Logan had the accident that incapacitated him.

"So that's why they don't treat her as family… " I muttered.
"Sadly, yes. First impressions matter and I do feel for Lois but I think it's her choice, I personally think that Logan loves her more than she does, "
"Why do you think so? "
"Many reasons, cara mia. I've seen the way she looks at him and the way he looks at her. It's almost like he's under a spell and she's just trying to survive in the marriage, but who am I to judge? "
"But Lois seems nice at least when we first talked, "
"Given my personal experience with her, I wouldn't tag her as nice. She does whatever she wants because she knows that Logan is even willing to cut ties with his family for her. I never thought she would take on the surrogacy deal and now Logan is the one objecting because he doesn't want to hurt her, "
I sighed, this is very complicated. But I'm grateful for this information which had added more questions in my head than I had before. Nonetheless, I appreciate Rosita's transparency.
"I just want to get my job done and get out of here soon,"
"And soon, you will just try to be patient with the process and Logan of course," She leaned closer and whispered, "If you need any help with seduction, I'm always here,"
I gasped and covered my mouth, "Alright, you can leave now,"
She laughed heartily, quite contagious but I'm not giving into that.
"I'm offering help, my love. I'll see you tomorrow,"
With that, she left me to my thoughts.
