Chapter 49 - 24. Changes (part 1)

Character : Nathan Fiore, Changes

-----

It is unheard of for a student to be the one teaching a class.

But in this day and age, where technology has advanced, where knowledge and concepts regarding our human body has leveled up, where origin became a school subject instead of an alien superpower.

Anything is possible.

BOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A powerful explosion once more shook the entirety of the Ellen academy. Every citizen of the academy became worried by the sudden shockwave of the explosion, and they all found a massive cloud of smoke gradually reaching the skies. And the most worrisome part, this did not happen once.

Once more, half of the entire training building has been flattened. In an instant, I created a large fireball the size of a carriage, and I fired it at the titanium wall that Miss Hilda prepared for me. With the smoke covering everything, I only turned around to face the shocked faces that my classmates were wearing. And seeing those faces, I only smiled genuinely.

"From today onwards, all of you will undergo a special training that is different from the other classes. All, with the goal of achieving this." I said while pointing at the cloud of smoke, and as the smoke disappears, everyone can see almost the exact same replica of what happened the last time I was here.

The roofs and walls are gone, showing the bright sun outside. The ground in front of me has completely melted to lava, and the titanium wall is no more. The titanium wall melting completely was the only thing different about this one, because I purposely focused my attack to destroy the wall instead of just shooting a strong fireball like before.

And with such destruction laid upon them, I just smiled at my friends softly.

"In one month… all of you will achieve this firepower. If anything, maybe you can achieve something even greater than this! It depends on how hard you train." I announced to everyone the plan I have for the class, and they all were still rather speechless by what they just saw.

I lifted one hand at them, as if alluring them to take my hand. "Now, will you all join me?"

To my question, everyone still seemed to be so confused. However, one person from the crowd stepped forward with his hands folded.

Now, the confusion has transferred to me, because Rejulus of all people is now walking towards me with his hands folded. And as soon as he arrived in front of me, he unfolded his right hand and lifted it up.

PLAK!!

Reju's hand immediately slapped me on the face, and everyone quickly turned excited.

"""Uwoh!!!""" The crowd turned excited, even Miss Hilda looked like she took out popcorn.

"Your thirteen year old syndrome came out. I had to slap it away." Reju said to me coldly, and I only stared at his face with the word 'Death' written all over me.

"The hell even is that--"

"Everyone, I apologize for my younger brother." Reju quickly turned his eyes to the students of class A, and I was amazed at how easy he took the stage from me.

"While his invitation may seem odd, I'm certain he has good intentions when he is asking us to do this. To tell you the truth, even I cannot tell what exactly goes on in his head!" Reju said while folding his hand again, but I just grinned at him after noticing what he was doing.

"That's why I want to give this guy a beat up! Once we all train like he said and become stronger than him, let's beat him up!" Reju said while lifting his fist, and everyone did the exact same thing he did.

"""Let's beat him up!!""" Everyone shouted at the same time, and I noticed Lily's voice was so-very-the ever-loudest.

Reju then turned his smile at me, and I put both my hands on my hips. "While I do feel indebted to you for convincing everyone… Why do I feel like my life is in danger?"

"My dear little brother, you still don't have the charisma to be a king. Next time, leave the presentation to me. Okay?" Reju said while wrapping his hand around my neck, and I'm still frozen on the spot.

"I'll kill you."

"You are very much welcome!" Reju then left me and returned to the others. As he is being welcomed back by the classmates, I just stared at his back with a smirk.

"I really taught him well… a bit too well, though."

"Well, you certainly changed him." Next to me, Miss Hilda approached with her usual tone.

"What do you even know?"

"Well, I met him once when he was a brat. He is nothing like who he is today. I'm guessing that got something to do with you?" Miss Hilda told me, and I was really surprised.

"You know so much, huh...?" I answered without elaborating, and I turned my gaze back to the students. "Everyone, please listen to my explanation for a bit."

Everyone once again turned their attention back to me, and it looks like it's time for me to spill everything to them.

"Is anyone here from the Dark Republic?" I asked my classmates, and it doesn't seem like anyone is. Miss Hilda has also mentioned to me that there's no one from the dark republic in my class, but this question was to simply tell them about the dark republic.

"All right, if there's no one, then I'll continue. In a few years… or even next year, a war will break out between the dark republic and the countries of Avenor." I finally spilled the beans to them all, and everyone looked widely shocked.

"Is this real!?" Reju asked the vice headmaster next to me, and Miss Hilda nodded. She took out a large screen device from her storage bracelet, and she pressed the screen a few times. After a short bit, a voice came out of the device.

'Greetings, esteemed leaders of Avenor.' The female voice was heard from the device, and everyone listened closely to what the person on the device was saying.

'My name is Frisena Valkaria. Crown princess and the future heir to the Valkaria Empire's throne.' The person on the device introduced herself, and Lily opened her eyes wide.

'This message is for the kings, queens, and leaders of the countries within Avenor. After seven long years of enmity, the Dark Republic country has finally revealed their hostilities towards all of Avenor. Led by their immortal president known as 'Zero', they have marched their army towards the borders between the dark republic and the earth nation.'

To that last part, Jonah took a step forward from the shock. But, he can only listen since this is a recorded message. Everyone noticed that Jonah is really worried about his home country, but there is nothing that we can do as of now. Even Regie, Jonah's cousin, only stayed silent.

'As of today; Thursday, the twenty sixth of June; The dark army of the dark republic has not launched any attack as they gathered at the said borders. However, the situation can change at any time. The water empire, Valkaria, has landed our military within the earth nation to help mitigate any unwanted actions. The city of Ellennoire will soon be joining alongside their elite soldiers as well as some assistance from the academy.

And now… I hope that the other countries can lend us their hand and voice. The Lightning Clan, Poros. The Religious Wind Temple. The Light Federation. And most importantly… the Fire Kingdom, Fiordall.

King Lucid of Fiordall, I'm sure you're already aware of what President Zero has done. If you haven't, then please contact the vice headmaster of the academy for more information. One thing for certain, I expect help from you more than anybody else.

That will be all. I wish to hear more from you all soon.'

After relaying the message, the device that Miss Hilda is holding turned off. She placed the device back to her storage bracelet and simply showed a smile to her students.

"If you're all wondering what President Zero has done… then, I don't mind telling you all about it." I said to everyone, and they all turned to me confused.

"Seven years ago, a village filled with powerful combatants within Fiordall territory was massacred."

Hearing that it will be about this topic, everyone opened their eyes wide from the shock. But, we have only barely scratched the surface.
