During the afternoon, the sun shone brightly on the street, making the pavement sparkle as it gleamed under its rays. It was a pleasant stroll for the 29-year-old girl as she walked with a light step, a smile on her face, and curls in her hair.
The woman had long black hair that fell to her waist, deep black eyes that were inquisitive, and a slim body that moved gracefully. Her warm smile reflected her kind and caring nature.
While the girl was happily returning to her home, she was humming a tune with joy in her heart. A smile tugged at the corners of her mouth as she felt relaxed and content in the warmth of the sun. Her attention was absorbed by the sights and sounds around her: birds singing in the trees, children playing in the park, and the scent of flowers in the air. In addition to feeling at peace, she was also excited about the day ahead of her.
With her first payment check, Selena planned on surprising Matteo with an overseas trip.
" Honey!! I am home!"

Upon entering the house, Selena hurriedly threw her shoes on the floor. As soon as she saw her husband, she jumped into his arms.

Trying to find something in her bag, Selena turned her head. Taking out an envelope, she looked proudly at it.
"Look! My hard work for a month has paid off! Come on. Open it up."
In anticipation of Matteo's response, she smiled smugly at him.
In helplessness, her husband shook his head. There was nothing cuter than her wife. Even though she wasn't perceptible enough to see the kiss he wanted, it didn't matter!
Under Selena's bright eyes, he stretched out his hand and opened the envelope.
It revealed two cruise tickets.
As Selena waited to capture her lover's surprised expression, she didn't blink.
His raised eyebrows and flickering eyes told her that she had succeeded.
Her face was filled with a smile as she felt content.
"Ah, how I love you! This is the best surprise I've ever received!"
It was her husband who exclaimed.
A joyous laugh escaped her lips as she clung tightly to Matteo's neck. It was well known to her that since the time he had a conflict with his step-siblings, he had never been to his grandparent's house, nor had he set foot in it. A cloud of painful memories hung over his head from his childhood. They could use this trip as an excuse not to attend their prestigious banquet.
During the past weeks, she had noticed his downcast mood. As a result of her failure to provide strong emotional support for her lover, she felt distressed. Therefore, she had come up with this solution after deliberate consideration.
There was no other thing that made her happier than seeing a genuine smile on Matteo's face during that moment. Her thoughts were interrupted when a gentle kiss was placed on her forehead, and she was brought back to reality. As she gazed at her husband, her twinkling eyes were fixed on the handsome face of his.
Having short black hair and brown eyes that were full of depth, Matteo was an attractive young man. The angular shape of his face was accentuated by the spikey, short hair that framed his face. As she gazed at him intensely, the fire within him ignited. Her husband whisked her away into the bedroom and shut the door tightly. Selena exclaimed in joy and surprise throughout the entire process.

In the dim light of dawn, a car stopped in a parking lot at the dock.
Continuing to complain incessantly, a woman with furry red hair and blue eyes sat inside.
A sleepy Selena leaned on her husband, not paying attention to Tina's whining, the look on her face made her look like a spoiled cat.
" I say, Why didn't you inform me about it before buying the ticket? It would have been great if we could have gone together! You're such a meanie, having fun all by yourself."
She was gently patted on the shoulder by Gary, her boyfriend.
"Don't be sad, sweetheart. I'll book the first flight to the exotic location you liked last time. Do not frown, otherwise, your forehead would be so wrinkled like your grandmother's."
As Tina listened to her boyfriend, she relaxed until she heard the second part. Like being injected with chicken blood, she jumped to hit him angrily.
" you idiot! In what ways am I similar to my grandmother? My 29th birthday just passed!"
Gary dodged her attack, laughing.
Selena had become accustomed to their antics by now. An amiable, hot-tempered silly girl, her friend was kind and compassionate. Although Gary enjoyed getting a rise out of her, he did not allow others to do so. The dynamic relationship between them was one of a kind.
"Have you caught a cold?What's wrong with your hands? Why are they so cold? Here let me warm them up for you."
Her hands were grabbed by Matteo as he spoke.
Her heart swelled at his attentive behaviour towards her. The corner of Selena's mouth raised slightly.
"It would definitely be a lot better if you wore them underneath your clothes," she said.
With a provoking look on her face, Selena suggested.
As Matteo pinched her nose, he said, "Naughty girl! ".
Selena laughed heartily.
" You too!!! Please! Wanna kill me with your sweetness? Save it for the cruise when you're alone!"
In a displeased tone, Tina pointed at them.
" Come on. Let's go. It is time."
Matteo spoke in a hurry so they didn't get the chance to exchange long childish banter with each other. He knew their personalities were like fire and oil after spending many hours with them. Continuously, stimulating one another.
With all her strength, Tina hugged Selena after getting out of the car.
"Next time, promise to go with me!"
" Okay. Okay. Let me go. I think my chest ribs would break from your strength!"
While gasping for breath, Selena said.
Tina's grasp was loosened as she received the answer she wanted, allowing Selena to escape.
"I wish you a safe trip!"
Taking her husband's hand, Selena nodded. She waved her goodbyes to Tina and Gary, and said, "Bye!"
Stepping onto the deck of the port, she eagerly anticipated her two-person journey.
