With the spell completed, it is time for the extraction to begin.
To get all three of them free at the same time is an immense feat and it takes another week to get them all in Zayne's condo apartment. Aurelia breaks the good news to him early, telling him that she has solved his problem and the extraction will take place when they're both free from any emergencies.
It was a quiet Friday evening when the extraction would take place. They have pushed aside the coffee table by the living room to allow working space. The two were arguing about something menial when they heard the doorbell ringing. Aurelia steps away, mid-argument, to open the door inviting Xavius inside.
"Why … what is going on?"
"We're arguing about what pizza topping we should order for later," she answers with a shrug as she looks over at the confused elf and points her thumb over her shoulder to indicate the ice user behind her. "He wants to go half and half."
