Disoriented and groggy, she blinks against the morning light, fumbling for her phone on the nightstand. In her haste, she tugs the charging cable free and manages to accept the call. With her phone pressed to her ear, she stumbles out of bed, making her way toward the front door to see who could be there so early.
"Hello?"
"Asteri! Finally!" Xavius sounds alarmed. "Where are you? Are you at home?"
"Yes, I am," she answers. "Why are you calling me so early in the morning? Are you hurt? Hold on, there's someone by the door."
