Chapter 61 - Other Togiri

Recap:

18 July - 54 Days remaining until the start of the Shura no Kōrin and 64 Days until the true Shura no Kōrin begins, where Nen users around the world will converge.

It had been three days since Togiri left Momo City and five days since he last saw his family.

Over the preceding days, he had systematically dismantled the formidable gangs of a sprawling metropolis housing two million people.

His precision, ruthlessness, and determination were unmatched, leaving a trail of shattered criminal empires in his wake.

Yet, the past few nights introduced a new danger—mysterious assassins.

The threat had escalated quickly, and in just three attempts, the attacks had become progressively more sophisticated.

The first attack came just before Togiri's departure. As he walked home through the dimly lit streets, he coincidentally crossed paths with Rika, his assistant and the acting CEO of the Phantom Society.

Their brief exchange of pleasantries was interrupted by an ambush. A team of skilled assassins struck with calculated precision.

Togiri fought back fiercely. He made quick work of their attackers, but any hopes of interrogation were lost.

Each assassin, upon capture, bit into a poisoned tooth, dying instantly before any secrets could be extracted, with the exception of one escaping.

The lack of information left Togiri uneasy.

The second attack occurred the following day, after Togiri faced an intense battle with Yotsuba, a Manipulator whose combat abilities nearly matched his own.

The fight had pushed Togiri to his limits, forcing him to use every trick and resource at his disposal.

Exhausted, he returned to his hotel, only to find himself poisoned.

As the toxin coursed through his body, weakening him, Togiri accidentally revealed his identity as the infamous Blue Demon to another group of assassins.

Once again, they chose death over escape or killing Togiri, biting into poisoned capsules with unwavering loyalty.

The pattern was clear: someone or some organization was orchestrating these attacks, testing Togiri's capabilities while attempting to uncover his secrets.

The Morning Attack

This morning marked the third assassination attempt since leaving Momo City. Togiri shortly after waking up was informed by Seven of lethal gas seeping into the room.

The air grew heavy, a sharp, metallic scent filling his nostrils. Instinct took over.

"Kuroha!" Togiri yelled, leaping from the bed, but she was deep asleep and didn't wake up even after being slaped.

The walls shimmered faintly, an almost imperceptible Nen barrier reinforcing them.

'They've blocked all conventional exits,' Togiri realized. 'Nen-reinforced walls… they're making sure we can't escape easily. But why not just kill us outright?'

Without hesitation, Togiri grabbed Kuroha by the wrist and dragged her toward the glass wall that overlooked the city below.

The window provided their only chance of survival. He summoned his Aura, focusing it into his fist.

With a deafening CRASH, the glass shattered, shards raining down onto the streets below. The rush of fresh air was a brief relief.

Togiri leaped through the opening with Kuroha on his shoulder. While falling 100 meters (300 ft) Togiri used his last Phantom Pages to lower his impact.

Kuroha in comparison suddenly woke up and drew a symbol on her arm that made her glide down like a feather.

Both of them were barefoot, clad only in the remnants of their dirty clothes. The cool morning air bit at their skin as they surveyed their surroundings.

After surving this ordeal they ate breakfast and decided to restock their suply of clothes and other things in a shopping mall.

-------

They entered a high-end shopping mall, its opulent interior a stark contrast to their ragged appearance.

The gleaming floors and extravagant displays spoke of wealth and indulgence, a world far removed from the chaos of their morning.

Kuroha's eyes lit up as they passed the various boutiques, her curiosity piqued.

Togiri, however, remained focused, scanning the mall for potential threats. 'This morning's attackers were all three stars in combat power — strong enough to kill me outright, but they chose not to.

Whoever's behind this doesn't just want me dead—they want information. But how are they tracking me so accurately?'

Togiri's thoughts turned to Nen. 'Nen is the most likely explanation. It's been six years since I arrived in this world, and while my memory of the Hunter x Hunter's plot is fragmented, I recall a woman with an ability that could trace people even under heavy disguise.'

'Shit! I left my notes back at home. I wrote down everything I knew, but now my mind's blank. If I pull Seven out of hibernation he'll be pissed and won't tell me.

.... But it's not just Nen,' he reasoned. 'There's also the possibility of surveillance.

While this world lags behind Earth in some technological aspects, a skilled hacker or a government organisation could still track me through other means.'

The lack of concrete information frustrated him. 'Too many unknowns. But I can't afford to let them corner me again. I need to turn this situation to my advantage.'

Kuroha poked Togiri playfully in the arm, interrupting his thoughts. She looked at him with her wide eyes and face filled with curiosity.

"Togiri-kun. A Hunter's license is amazing, isn't it? Without it, we couldn't have gotten into that couple's restaurant or this fancy mall. Look at all this—WOW!"

She gestured excitedly at the luxurious displays, her enthusiasm momentarily lifting the weight of Togiri's thoughts. He allowed himself a faint smile.

"Pick whatever you like," he said, his voice calm but firm. "We need to blend in, and you need suitable clothes for that."

Kuroha's eyes sparkled with delight as she darted toward a boutique, leaving Togiri to follow at a more measured pace.

He watched as she flitted between racks of clothing, her playful energy drawing the attention of nearby shoppers.

Togiri, however, remained vigilant. His gaze swept the crowd, noting every potential threat, every suspicious glance.

'The assassins found me even under heavy disguise,' he thought. 'That means they're using a method I haven't accounted for yet. Either Nen or something else entirely. I don't know if the Disguise Pill also changes my finger prints.'

'System!' He opened his system interface discreetly, the translucent panel visible only to him.

The familiar menu appeared before his eyes:

Status

ShopInventory

Skills

Training Simulator

Crafting Tab

Karma (Locked)

Nen Affinity

On the corner on the left he saw all of his accumulation of points.

Existence Points (EP): 45,843,114

Shop Points (SP): 10,329

Reviewer Points (RP): 0

'45 million EP. It's doubled since I last checked, but it still feels low for a world with 5 billion people. There must be conditions I'm not meeting to unlock more.'

He considered his options carefully. 'No use in dwelling on it now. Focus on what's immediate.' Togiri told himself as if it was someone else.

As Kuroha continued trying on outfits, Togiri waited near the entrance of the boutique. His lean figure, covered in tattered clothing, stood out among the polished, well-dressed shoppers.

He noticed the stares, the whispers, but ignored them. They didn't matter.

From the corner of his eye, he saw a group of young men—well-dressed, their faces smug—approaching.

Their loud conversation quieted as they neared him, their attention focused entirely on Togiri. One of them, clearly the leader, smirked.

He was tall, fit, had blond hair, wore an earing and at one glance one could tell he was of wealthy upbringing.

"Hey, isn't that the kid from the TV? The tournament sponsor?" the leader said, his voice loud enough to purposefully attract attention.

Another man in the group nudged him. "Yeah, that's him. Looks a lot less impressive in person."

They stopped a few feet away from Togiri, their mocking smiles widening. The leader stepped closer, crossing his arms.

"So, what's a big shot like you doing here without bodyguards, huh?"

Togiri didn't react immediately. His gaze shifted to the man, his expression calm, unreadable. "Shopping," he said simply, his tone dismissive.

The group chuckled, the leader clearly emboldened. "Shopping? Dressed like that? Don't make me laugh. Are you sure you aren't hear to steal?" His words gathered a crowd.

One of the others chimed in, pointing toward the boutique where Kuroha was still trying on dresses.

"Oh, is she your girlfriend? Pretty bold of her, dating a guy like you." Togiri's lips twitched into a faint, humorless smile. 'Typical. Let's see how far they're willing to push this.'

Kuroha emerged from the boutique at that moment, her expression lighting up when she saw Togiri.

"Togiri-kun, what do you think of this dress—" She stopped mid-sentence, her gaze shifting to the group of men surrounding him. Her eyes narrowed.

The leader laughed, leaning and towering over Togiri. "She's way out of your league, brat. What's your secret? Money? Hahaha"

Kuroha stepped forward, her jaw tight, but before she could speak, Togiri raised a hand, stopping her.

"It's not worth it," he said softly, his voice steady. Then, turning his full attention to the leader, he added, "You should watch your words."

The leader scoffed, stepping closer until he was mere inches from Togiri. "And what if I don't? What are you gonna do about it, little brat?"

Togiri's gaze darkened, his calm exterior giving way to a simmering intensity. "I'll teach you the most important lesson you never learned"

"Kekeke" The leader laughed, but it was cut short as Togiri let a fraction of his killing intent seep into the air, coupled with Ren. The effect was immediate.

The leader's confident smirk faltered, his body stiffening as an invisible pressure pressed down on him.

His friends took a step back, their bravado evaporating in an instant. Around them, the bustling noise of the mall seemed to quiet as the crowd surrounding them and the nearby shoppers felt the oppressive aura.

But Togiri wasn't finished. He reached up, grabbing the leader's wrist with a grip like iron. "Know your limits," Togiri said coldly.

With a swift motion, he twisted the man's wrist. CRACK! The sound echoed sharply, drawing gasps from the onlookers.

"AAHHH! ARGHhhh!" The leader screamed, his knees shaking as he clutched his broken wrist.

Togiri released him, but not before delivering a sharp kick to the man's shin, sending him sprawling to the ground.

The crowd was silent, a mix of fear and awe in their expressions. Even Kuroha, who had seen Togiri in battle before, was momentarily stunned.

"You—you bastard!" one of the other men stammered, but he didn't step forward. None of them did.

The leader writhed on the ground, his face pale, tears streaming down his cheeks. "Y-you're crazy… Do you know who my mother is?"

Togiri's gaze swept over the group, his killing intent still lingering in the air. "Do you want to join him?" he asked, his voice low, dangerous.

They shook their heads, their earlier confidence completely shattered. One of them muttered, "Let's go," and they scrambled to help their injured friend to his feet, retreating as quickly as they could.

Kuroha watched the men retreat, her expression a mix of amusement and exasperation.

"You could've handled that without breaking his wrist, you know." Togiri shrugged. "They started it." "And you finished it," she said, her tone teasing but with a hint of reproach.

"You didn't need to release your killing intent, though. Half the crowd looked ready to faint."

"I'm a little out of practice" Togiri replied, his tone matter-of-fact.

"Now, no one else will try to bother us." He remarked with a hint of amusement in his voice.

Kuroha sighed, shaking her head. "You're impossible, you know that?" Togiri allowed a small smile to slip through. "And yet, you're still here." She rolled her eyes but couldn't help smiling back.

"Come on, let's get out of here before security shows up." "Too late" Togiri pointed of a group of large man wearing suits running towards them.

"On the ground, now! Hands where I can see them!" The security team aimed their pistols at Togiri and Kuroha.

This was a strange sight to see. A group of well-dressed and strong men feared two teenagers.

"Calm down, I'm a Hunter. See my license? We just want to shop in peace. That blond prick started the fight" Suprised and confused the security team paused.

Their leader, a man with multiple scars on his face stepped forth. He looked the boy up and down and looked at the Hunter license held in the air.

"Even though you are a Hunter, please leave our premises or we will need to force you" the leader gestured his subordinates to lower their guns.

Togiri looked at him for second and said "How about I'll tip all eployees ten percent for every article we buy and every employee gets a Beauty Pill as a present."

The battle hardened leader looked expressionless at Togiri. "Do it!" Yelled an employee from a nearby store. Soon other employees chimed and a few shoppers too.

The actions left the leader unfazed as he gaze was fixazed on Togiri's eyes. 'Should I just leave and come in again with a different face? The Disguise Pill is still in effect for a few more days.'

"Yes, I will accept, but if you injure anyone else even by self defense, we will call the police" The leader turned around and left with his subordinates folling behind him.

Kuroha took a deep breath. "Uff. I guess you can do anything if you are a Hunter and have money" Togiri looked at Kuroha, cold sweat broke out from her forehead.

"How about we split up. It's more efficient that way." Togiri suggested. Kuroha agreed with slight dissapointment, but her white eyes shone like jewels when Togiri handed her, his credit card.

"Meet me at the steak restaurant on the third floor in half an hour. Don't waste any time."

Kuroha hesitated, clearly reluctant to let him go. "Don't get into any more fights, okay?"

"No promises," Togiri said, smirking slightly before walking away.

As he navigated the mall, his thoughts returned to the assassins and their persistent pursuit.

'If they're watching, they'll be waiting for me to make a mistake. But they're underestimating me. '

After visiting a few general stores and buying various items ranging from clothes, to a tent, rations, training equipment and shampoo, he stopped at a military surplus store.

The shop was dimly lit, the air thick with the scent of oil and metal. Behind the counter sat an older man in a wheelchair, his grizzled features half-hidden by a newspaper that he was reading.

The man looked up as Togiri approached. "What can I do for you, kid?" he asked, his tone gruff but not unkind.

Togiri placed his Hunter License on the counter. "I need supplies. Weapons, survival gear, anything you've got."

The man's eyebrows rose slightly, but he said nothing as he wheeled himself around the counter. "Follow me."

IThe faint hum of fluorescent lights overhead cast long shadows across the neatly organized rows of merchandise.

The man in the wheelchair rolled to a stop near a counter displaying an array of firearms.

"This is what I've got," the man said, gesturing to the shelves. "Pick what you need, but don't expect any favors."

Togiri's eyes scanned the selection, his expression calculating. He methodically selected several items—a compact water filtration system, durable rope, a set of combat knives, and a small, lightweight tent used for camping in harsher conditions he previously bought.

Finally, his gaze landed on the firearms.

"I'll take two of each pistol you have," Togiri said, his tone even.

"A all of your machine guns, And a three rounds of ammunition for each."

The man raised an eyebrow, his grizzled features twisting into a skeptical frown. "You're gearing up for a war, kid?"

Togiri met his gaze without flinching. "Something like that." The man grunted, rolling his chair toward a locked cabinet.

He unlocked it with a key he retrieved from his pocket and pulled out a selection of firearms, laying them out on the counter.

As he worked, he glanced at Togiri, his sharp eyes studying the boy's every movement. "You're not like most kids I see around here," the man said after a moment. "What's your story?"

Togiri didn't answer immediately. Instead, he picked up one of the pistols, checking its weight and balance. "Just trying to survive," he replied eventually.

The man snorted. "Aren't we all." As the man began packing Togiri's selections. "Where do you want it shipped?" The man asked. Togiri waved his hand and grabed one of the dufflebags filled with guns.

He then stretched out his hand and the dufflebag dissapeared into thin air. The old man's eyes widened in suprise.

"You... you can use Nen.." Togiri ignored the old mans reaction and continued picking up duffle bags. "Kid, you can't just go around and use Nen this openly. You should thank god that I too am a Nen soldier"

'If he only knew that the system scanned every person in a radius of 500 meters and that you have a number above your head too high for a regular person.

Still, to posses two star combat power with such an untrained body means he is very talented.' Togiri continued to put the dufflebags into his inventory until he noticed something peculiar about the shop owner.

The words [Rocket-man] were written all over his wheel chair. Thr older man spoke again, his voice carrying a hint of bitterness.

"You remind me of myself, you know. Back when I thought I was invincible."

Togiri glanced at him, curiosity flickering in his eyes. "What happened?"

The man paused, his hands stilling as he rested them on the wheels of his chair. For a moment, he seemed lost in thought, his gaze distant. Then he sighed, his shoulders sagging.

"Nen happened," he said, his voice low. "Back in my day, wars weren't just fought with guns and bombs. Sometimes, those lucky—or accurately, unlucky—enough to awaken Nen were thrown into the thick of it. I was one of them."

He looked down at his lap, his expression darkening. "I was a soldier once. Back in the days when wars were fought every day, not just in secret.

I awakened Nen in the middle of a battle—pure chance. My ability let me move faster than anyone, like a damn rocket."

Togiri noticed the man's hands clenching tightly on the wheels of his chair. He didn't interrupt as he was finished putting the last few items away.

"But Nen doesn't make you invincible," the man continued, his voice growing quieter.

"One mistake. That's all it took. A trap I didn't see coming. Lost my legs, lost my ability that made me strong, my family… lost... everything."

There was a long silence between them. The man's gaze lifted, meeting Togiri's. "You're young. Strong. But don't let that make you arrogant. Nen doesn't make you untouchable. Remember that."

Togiri studied the man for a moment, his expression unreadable. Then he spoke, his voice cold but laced with an edge of determination. "So, you gave up."

The man blinked, caught off guard by Togiri's response to his sad story "What?"

"You lost your legs, your Nen, your wife, and what did you do?" Togiri's tone grew sharper.

"You decided life wasn't worth living anymore. You sit here, bitter and broken, wallowing in self-pity."

The man's face darkened, his jaw tightening as he clenched his fist. "Watch your mouth, kid."

"Why?" Togiri's gaze was piercing, unrelenting. "Because I'm telling the truth? You can still breathe, eat, read the newspaper, run this store. You're alive.

But instead of doing something with what you have left, you sit here, rotting like a cadaver. You survived. You are mocking everyone who didn't"

The man's hands trembled slightly, his knuckles white as he gripped the arms of his chair.

For a moment, he seemed ready to lash out, but Togiri's words hung in the air, heavy and undeniable.

"Don't project your failures onto others," Togiri said, his voice softening slightly. "You're not dead. Start acting like it."

The man didn't respond immediately, but he growled in a quite low voice "Who the hell are you to judge me?" You don't know what it's like to lose everything"

Togiri's eyes flashed with a dangerous intensity. "Don't I? Every single night, every single day, hour and minute, I relive the deaths of people I loved.

I see their faces, hear their screams. And no matter how strong I get, it's never enough. I can't save them. I couldn't save any of them."

The old man was silent, the weight of Togiri's words sinking in. Togiri's voice dropping to a harsh whisper.

"You can still breathe. You can still eat, still wake up in the morning. But instead of living, you rot here, wallowing in your own misery. Don't talk to me about loss."

The man's hands trembled on the wheels of his chair. For a moment, he seemed on the verge of saying something, but the words didn't come.

Togiri eye twitched. His previous firm voice became even quiter "I... didn't-can't give up... not until I..." Togiri's looked at his hands. They began to tremble slowly and the rest of his body followed.

The man let out a long, shaky breath, his shoulders slumping. For the first time in years he felt small.

He didn't respond or rather couldn't, but his expression held a mixture of anger, shame, and something else—perhaps the faintest glimmer of resolve.

-----

Meanwhile, Kuroha stood outside the steak restaurant, her arms crossed as she tapped her foot impatiently.

Men ranging from all ages saw her beauty and outfit, but didn't dare to approach her as they either saw or heard about Togiri's actions in the shopping mall prior.

She glanced at her watch, frustration etched across her face. "He's late," she muttered. "What could he possibly be doing?"

Her irritation gave way to concern as the minutes ticked by with no sign of Togiri. Then suddenly she saw him behind a group of people.

He walked towards the exit. "Heh. I'm coming. Get ready to be scolded by your Nee-san(older sister)"

Togiri walked through the exit past the steak house. Kuroha caught up to him in her new sneakers.

"Where have you been? I have been waiting for twenty minutes? You sure took your seeet tim-" Togiri walked past Kuroha.

'His eyes...' thought Kuroha. Togiri walked slowly onto the street. "Wait!" Kuroha ran after him.

'I hope he will not do what I think he is' Kuroha in her brand new luxury dress with her new brand sneakers chased after Togiri in the crowd of people, but he was already gone.

Clenching her fists, she closed her eyes and took a deep breath, focusing her Nen.

A soft blue glow appeared at her fingertips, weaving into intricate patterns in the air.

She began to draw, her strokes deliberate and fluid, her mind focused entirely on her task.

Onlookers stared, some confused, others intrigued by the weird behaviour of the beatiful young woman.

A young girl tugged at her mother's sleeve, pointing at Kuroha. "Mommy, what's she doing?"

Kuroha ignored the stares, her concentration unwavering. Finally, after 10 minutes, the glowing patterns transformed into the shape of a small, winged Shiba Inu.

Its fur shimmered like starlight, its tiny wings fluttering as it let out an enthusiastic bark.

"Woof woof" "Good girl," Kuroha whispered, a tired but satisfied smile on her face.

She knelt down, holding out her hand. "Find Togiri-kun for me, okay?" "Arf!" "You need his smell? Hm~ I don't have anything from him on me. Can you smell my body?"

The shiba inu nodded "Woof Woof!" Even more onlookers began taking notice of Kuroha's. "Wow..." A gasp among men could be heard as they saw Kuroha blush.

Embarresed she whispered "We just slept in the same bed" "Woof" "No, we are just partners. Please, help me find him quickly." Kuroha urged holding her hands as she kneeled on the floor begging.

"Arf Arf!" "Sure. I will make it two dozen chocolate bars.

The Shiba Inu sniffer her and began running and then flying above the heads of the pedestrians walking. Kuroha followed close behind.

-------

The sun was going down, evening arrived. Togiri was in a quiet park on the edge of the city, its lush greenery a stark contrast to the urban chaos surrounding it.

Togiri sat alone on a bench near the pond, his gaze fixed on the rippling water.

Another memory slammed into him with the force of a tidal wave. A woman's laughter, warm and soothing, turned to a blood-curdling scream a moment later.

He could still feel her blood on his hands, the way her body went limp as she was torn from him and another him screaming with tears in eyes as he lost his mind from anger.

Another memory followed—children, their faces alight with joy as they played, only to be replaced by the sight of their lifeless forms, their small bodies ripped apart and bleeding.

Every image was sharper than the last. His parents, his siblings, friends he could no longer name.

Togiri didn't just remember the scenes, but lived throught them as if he they were happening just now, but through the perspective of his other selfs.

"I want to scream, but I lost my voice."

"I want to cry, but I lost my tears."

"I feel like I'll burst at any moment, but empty at the same. What is the meaning of life? Revenge feels insignificant."

Togiri mask broke. His facade of being normal, a kid, happy, peaceful — his mask of being sane.

He was never fine since he first step into this world, his daily life was hard to watch. While others watched him work tirelessly and admired him for it, the truth was grim.

The reason why Togiri started and continued blacksmithing, reading books while training or researching weapons and technology wasn't as simple as it seemed to be.

Strength and knowledge were a by product, but every second not fully occupied physically or mentally was hell for Togiri.

The moment he let himself be swallowed by his memories and emotions, his mind was breaking, his soul darkening and his hearts beating on the verge of bursting.

Somewhere along the lines, Seven used the system to help Togiri stabile hid mentality, but once Seven is turned completly off, Togiri truest self emerges. Togiri without help can't bear the mental burden.

"Why do I need to kill? Why do I need to hate and get revenge on those who wronged other me's." Togiri looked at the rippling water of the pond.

"Why can't I let go of these 'false' memories that were implanted in me. Why can't I just..." Togiri's face turned bitter.

"I just live... Why can't I just live... I worked hard enough" Togiri's looked at his legs.

"I guess that's the true me. I thought that part died off like my heart, but the coward inside me is still alive."

Flashes of thousands of memories simultaneously popped up inside Togiri's mind. All of them tragic goodbyes of his loved ones before they died until a small spark was lit inside his mind.

A memory he was locked with a key that was thrown away. The spark ignited the flame that brought forth this memory.

-------

Somewhere in the middle of nowhere on a snowy mountain. A man in his mid thirties layed in Togiri's arms as he coughed up blood.

'His blood sank into the snow and my white coat. In other memories my friends, brothers and families died having an expression of fear, shock, regret or acceptance but not this guy.'

'His face is full of anger and hatred. Why does he look so angry?' The other Togiri with tears in his eyes looked up the sky and saw a man dressed in a luxurious robe, holding a staff, standing in the air.

This was the first time one of Togiri's memories showed the attacker that killed him and his family.

The man was bleeding out in his arms, but he still looked at the enemy standing in the sky with a fierce expression.

Anyone seeing him could feel his unbending will to fight till his last breath.

"Hey... T.....ra, you bastard. Don't look away from your enemy. Let me tell one last thing- Cough" Blood flew out as he coughed again.

"Who you are, the meaning of life, your life's purpose... Who gives a shit. There is only one thing that matters." For the first time his gaze shifted towards Togiri.

"Strength! Everything else is just a delusion for the weak. There's only one certainty in life.

A STRONG MAN STANDS ABOVE AND CONQUERS ALL!" 'What is this other feeling?' Togiri felt it. Besides the usual emotions of anger, hate and grief, he felt something different.

Hope, the resolve he initialy had when he started training. Hope gave Togiri the will to not commit suicide.

Hope is what pushed alongside his hate when he felt the limits of his body and talent in Nen.

He changed himself, the loser that arrived in this world died and from his ashes Togiri was reborn.

"This feeling... Hahaha... I was the problem. I gave up before even tried. You sons of bitches are watching me?!" Togiri stood up and raised his middle finger towards the cloady sky.

"Keep your necks warm, I don't care how strong you almighty you are, as LONG as I'm BREATHING I won't stop trying to kill you!!!!"

"Hahaha... Thank you... my friend..." Togiri once again lived throught the memory of the man he met and noticed something weird.

First, for the first time he saw one of the gods or transcendental beings killing his loved ones and him.

Second, the memory wasn't over. Togiri again felt the blood of the man drip on his body and the warmth of his breath on the cold snow covered mountain.

A STRONG MAN STANDS ABOVE AND CONQUERS ALL! huff... huff.." The fierce man bleeding out in his arms was out of breath.

"Hey. huff... Use me .. huff.... as your SP. " The man smiled as his eyes grew cloudy and murky.

"Togiri-san! No! I won't do it. I can't use you like a disposal tool. You know that you can't reincarnate once I summon you."

The tears he shed intensified as he looked at his friend Togiri dying in his arms and saying unthinkable words.

"It's time to end this!" Yelled the older man standing in the sky. His eyes were ferocious as he looked down on the two.

"I gave you enough time to say farewell, but that's all my respect will allow towards the Sect Master of the Shadow Phantom Sect."

The old man released his dark red Nen and it looked as tangible as if it was liquid. "As a show of respect, I will use my strongest attack to finish you."

The Togiri feeling the memory suddenly felt his body moving. He gently placed down his friend who was taking short breath and pulled out something from his belt.

It was something metallic. He pressed a button and 5 cars flew out, similiar to a modern wallet for men.

One red card, one blue card, two green cards and one black card. Togiri felt himself infuse Aura into a green card and throw it on his dying friend.

Midair the card dissolved and a green ball made out of Nen hit his friend. Instantly a difference could be seen.

His bleeding wounds slowed and his breath became calmer. He opened his eyes and said "It's pointless. Turn me into a SP. Before it's too late"

"No!" He threw his other green card on him. "This should do it" He picked up his friend "Bastard, put me down!" He smirked.

"Togiri-san, I am sorry that I can't repay you in this life. I hope when you and me meet in my next reincarnation cycle, that we won't fight as much.

I will repay you in my next life and make you the strongest with my Special Pages. Bye, my friend" He took a throwing stance. "Asshole, wait! WAIT!" and threw Togiri.

He threw him at full strength. His throw was like a cannonball, something a human even using Nen should simply not be capable. "BASTaaaa..."

Togiri felt his memory self smiling again, but he felt his body shifting back the older man wearing a robe and holding a staff.

That short moment gave the flying man more than enough time to prepare his strongest move.

"Ganf, you're a powerhouse. You are near the level of demigod. I'm sure a prodigy like you can give me a minute to brace myself for your ultimate attack, right?"

His words were filled with praise and acknowledgedment of the his opponents strength. This was an obvious ruse to trick Ganf and he knew it and so did Togiri.

An so obvious action that might just work and it did "Sure. It doesn't matter if I kill you now or an hour latter". Togiri smiled.

"No a minute is all I need." He infused Nen into his blue card and a blue person appeared.

It looked similiar like Togiri's Phantom Warrior, except that it was made out of blue metal and it's appearance was similiar to a girl.

Her hair was short and she had a beautiful face, but her facial features were hard to see if you didn't focus on them, because everything about her was blue.

"Reina-san. I'm sorry, but..." The blue girl laughed and held her hand on her cheek. "Tetsura-kun, I'm always happy to become your weapon." Tetsura smiled brightly.

"Thank you and I'm sorry. This is will probably be our last battle together" He than places his hand on Reina's head and patted her and the next moment her body was illuminated.

Whoosh

Blue lined shined from Reina blue body and she slowly transformed. She became a blue katana, it would take days to destribe it's beauty and craftmanship.

Tetsura grabbed the katana and he could feel the strength and energy emanating from it. His hand strongly gripped the handle.

Holding the katana felt like something missing from birth suddenly got appeared and filled in the missing puzzle piece.

Tetsura pulled out his black card and infused Nen into it. The black card's light shone brighter than the green's or the blue one's.

A black armor appeared. Tetsura touched the armor and like a liquid, it suddenly enveloped and covered his body from head to toe.

Not even Tetsura's eyes could be seen wearing that suit. "Thank you Kastriot, for always protecting me and I'm sorry" This time Tesura didn't smile.

Tesura used his last card, the red card. He placed it on his forehead and said in a bitter tone "Asdo-san, thank you for your strength and I'm sorry"

Red Nen enveloped Tetsura's body. Underneath the suit, one couldn't see him, but Tetsura was grinding his teeth.

"Reina-san, Kastriot, Asdo-san, Togiri-san and the others. Thank you for helping me all this time and I'm sorry." He shed tears and started trembling in grief.

"Heh! You still haven't fixed your bad habit of saying sorry all the time. How could Reina choose such a frustrating idiot like you as husband and not me"

"Asdo-san?... I'm sorry... Reina... and I turned her into a..." Tetsura gripped harder on the blue katana he was holding. Asdo noticed and was so shocked that he couldn't say a word in response.

"The minute is over. Shadow Phantom Sect Master, prepare for your demise." The red ball of Nen shot out. In a single second, a dome was built.

"I guess my death wasn't enough to stop you being an idiot. Tetsura! Now's not the time to shed tears, but blood. Use my strength and defeat Ganf, quickly. This attack killed me"

"I'm sorry Asdo-san and thank you" SWISH

Faster than eyes blinking, Tesura was next to Ganf and swung down his katana.

TINK

Tetsura's sword and Ganf's staff collided. Ganf eyes turned crimson as he chuckled "Hehe. Hahaha"

A dozen red tree branches swung at Tetsura. "Child play!" Tetsura blocked the branches with his sword, but the force of the attack slammed Tetsura towards the red dome wall.

Asdo quickly spoke "Tetsura! Don't touch the red wall!" Tetsura tried to move, but he had no way to change his course.

Boom

Tetsura hit the wall with the impact a bomb that could devestate a small family house. Tetsura was binded by red tree branches on the dome wall, but that was not all.

Ganf was Nen master, he belonged to the Manipulator category. His ultimate move Red Dimension, allowed him to create a huge red sphere where he could manipulate almost everything.

Wind, fire, earth, water, lighting, metal, plants, animals, gravity and a few others. Tetsura wasn't simply binded by enhanced tree branches, but by gravity.

500 tons of force were crashing at Tetsura body constantly at all times. Double the weight of all the doors of the Zoldyck Testing Gate on Kukuroo Mountain.

"Haahaahaah" Ganf laughed in an eerie tone "Sect Master, that's what you get for underestimating your subordinates"

"Ganf, I never underestimated you or saw you as my subordinate, but as my brother. If you had asked me to make you sect leader, I would have gladly give the position to you"

"Brother? Don't make me laugh! You took everything away from me." Ganf flew closer towards Tetsura.

"At home you were the golden child and at school, the prodigy that skipped classes. While you were out having fun with your friends after school I helped father.

You were praised for every A in school and when I achieved the same, I was ignored.

Mother and father bought you new clothes and shoes, while I got your hand me down even though I'm older.

I tried my best. I cut off all ties with you and built my own life, I found an angel and married her.

One day I was estatic because the angel was pregnant with my child, but not even a week later and lost our baby. MY CHILD!!" Ganf increased the force hitting Tetsura's from 500 tons to 1000 tons.

Ganf's eyes became even more crimson. "Why? Can you guess? Because my so called brother beat up a cartel in his pursuit of justice.

If you fight mafia family's and cartels, why can't you kill them?.... what? Can't spew your hypocrisy about justice and murder anymore?

Every time I see you hypocrite smiling face my blood boils and I wish to scratch my face bloody." Ganf menacingly looked at Tetsura.

Tetsura completely still and helpless removed the blacksuit at his head. "I thought you forgave me. I'm sorry." He sank his head as he smiled bitterly.

"Hmrgh! Forgave you? I hate you! Even now, you still act like a fallen hero and not like the hypocrite you are.

I wish I never saw you under that bridge and helped you. It's time to end this ill fated relationship. Bye" Ganf flew down on the ground and raised his staff.

His Nen flared immensly like a forest fire. His feet sank into the fluffy snow.

"Air come to me! " Above the lifted staff a vortex formed. A tornado built inside the dome and soon bird flying started to fall down one by one.

Rabbits fell over and the trees and plants started withering. The most affected in the dome was the snow.

Snow is composed of ice crystals and air pockets, removing all the air from snow collapses its structure, making it dense and compact like ice, while losing its insulating, sound-absorbing, and fluffy properties.

The snow Ganf was standing on became hard ice. Even the air in Tetsura's lungs was escaping slowly.

One last sound escaped his lips before his lungs were empty. They were the words that annoyed Asdo and Ganf the most.

"I'm sorry"

SPLAT!

Tetsura's blue katana was stabbing through Ganf's heart. The sound of the stab was silent, because of the missing air.

Only Ganf's blood dripping down on Tetsura's katana and body could be heard. Ganf pupils shrank. Petrified he looked at the black figure before his eyes.

"You!" Cough! Blood sprayed Tetsura's face. "I didn't want to end it like this... I'm sorry... Fang" The memory ended.
