"They are at it again," sighed Fang. "Yeah, but it's not like either side is completely wrong," said Togiri to Fang.
@How deep does this elevator go?@ asked Seven looking through Togiri's eyes. Seven was Togiri's Reviewer System artificial Intelligence that helped Togiri navigate the system.
He was just a voice with a personality modeled after Togiri before he changed and arrived in this world.
Seven lived inside the Reviewer System which was connected to Togiri.
'How should I know? I'm already excited because now comes the running part. I can finally read properly again. Trying to read a book while flying, climbing a mountain, or being on a ship isn't impossible, but it's hard.'
@It will be very funny to see desperate people running until they shit blood, and just when they are about to give up, suddenly they see a little boy passing them while carrying a big backpack and reading a book.@ Seven laughed devilishly.
'How can you be a part of my personality? Do you remember the treadmill accident? I sprinted at full speed for hours on the super treadmill, reached the biggest twist in the book, and fell down, almost breaking my arm.'
@Hahahaha, that was funny.@ 'If that ever happened in front of Fang, he would never let me forget it.'
@True. He would forever hold it over your head. Do you need help watching the road while running?@ 'Nice try, now shut up!' Everything Seven saw was through Togiri's eyes. He had no physical or even astral body.
"Kurapika, I agree with you. A Hunter has many responsibilities like protecting the weak and innocent," said Fang.
Leorio and Kurapika started talking about what Hunters are and what they do.
"Wait," Togiri interrupted their heated discussion. "The reason why Kurapika and Fang are on the side of do-gooders is that they didn't grow up as badly as others."
Leorio smirked "You see, Togiri is on my side"
"No, I'm not. I'm saying there is no right and wrong. Kurapika, Leorio could have grown up poor and suffered all his life just because he didn't have money."
Leorio started to look serious after Togiri's words.
"Kurapika, you want to hunt the Phantom Troupe because they annihilated the Kurta Clan. There are different reasons why others become the way they are or view things. You shouldn't look down on or despise them for it, even if it seems shallow to you."
"Leorio... I—" Kurapika's sentence got interrupted by the elevator arriving. *Ding*. The group stepped out of the elevator and were greeted by a huge crowd staring at them.
A little guy walked towards them. He looked like a walking green bean wearing a suit. He handed out small plaques with numbers written on them.
Leorio got the number 403, Kurapika 404, Gon 405, Togiri 407, and Fang 406.
Togiri got the plaque that ended with his favorite number, seven. The green bean walked away, and soon an older man appeared. His name was Tonpa.
He revealed some information about other Hunter Exam applicants who were present.
@This would be perfect opportunity to ask him where Ging is@ 'He obviously doesn't know. Ging is probably traveling around and it would be suspicious to ask him'
"AHHHHH!" screamed a man in pain. His arms were dissolving into flower petals. Togiri jumped up to get a clearer view of what happened. He saw, from far away, a man dressed weirdly and holding a playing card.
Togiri completely forgot about Hisoka's early tendencies in the story to kill anyone who annoyed him.
"His name is Hisoka. He was disqualified last year because he killed an examiner," Tonpa's words made Fang react.
"Togiri, we—" Before Fang could finish his sentence Togiri pulled him aside from the group to talk in private.
"No, no, no, no. Hisoka is way too dangerous for us. He can use Nen and is stronger than Machi and Chrollo Lucifer."
Togiri's words surprised Fang.
"I don't want to awaken your fighting spirit. What I'm trying to say is, it isn't worth it, and we can deal with him after the Hunter Exam. Also, like I said before, don't use Nen except for emergencies or when no one can find out. One more thing, stay away from the guy with metal pins in his head too."
Togiri and Fang finished their secret talk and both returned to the group just in time for Tonpa to give them a soft drink.
Togiri declined the drink, but Fang happily accepted it. Kurapika, like Togiri, was also a Conjurer Nen type, which meant he was very cautious of traps.
Leorio and Fang wanted to instantly down the drink, but before they could, Gon took a sip and spat it out.
"Ew! Tonpa-san, this juice must have expired."
Fang was in the middle of taking a big sip. Togiri slapped his back, making Fang spit everything out at Tonpa's face.
"HAHAHAHAHA," Togiri started laughing and rolling uncontrollably on the ground. He laughed so hard that many of the crowd joined in.
The dim underground passage was filled with laughter. Tonpa left angry and embarrassed.

"The Hunter Exam will now begin!" said a man with a curly black mustache and violet hair. He looked as if the Jack from playing cards was a real person.
"I'm Satotz, the Phase One examiner. You must follow me to Phase Two. This is the exam's First Phase."
