"What is this?! This isn't ordinary sorcery!"
The Terrifying Elder stared in disbelief at the magical sword piercing his body.
In his understanding, the magic of this world was akin to the sorcery from his own realm. But now, it seemed fundamentally different.
"Apologies, but I prefer to call it magic. This is the Sword of Vishanti, the White Magic God's creation—it's beyond your resistance!" Strange declared as the sword radiated even brighter, intensifying the elder's pain.
"If you don't want to die, then open the exit for me immediately!"
"Damn it!"
The Terrifying Elder finally realized he had underestimated his prey. These magicians were far stronger than he had imagined.
"Fine! Go!"
Frustrated, the elder opened an exit, unleashing a powerful suction force that pulled Strange uncontrollably toward it, even causing him to release the Sword of Vishanti.
"Finally, my chance!"
This was exactly what Strange had been waiting for.
As he neared the exit, he conjured a magical whip and flung it.
The Terrifying Elder, distracted as he struggled to remove the Sword of Vishanti, didn't notice Strange's action. The whip looped around his neck.
"Get over here!"
Strange yanked with all his strength, using the suction force to pull the elder toward the exit along with him.
"No!"
The elder realized Strange's plan and cried out in alarm, but it was too late. Together, they were pulled out of the pocket dimension.
Both emerged above a palace, falling from a great height.
Strange quickly cast a shield spell to levitate himself and avoid injury. The Terrifying Elder, though hitting the ground, seemed relatively unharmed.
Wasting no time, Strange began casting an advanced spell.
Above them, the sky fractured into countless cracks, resembling interlocking mirrors. These shards descended swiftly, merging into the surroundings like a gust of wind.
The elder, puzzled by the transformation, didn't yet understand what had happened.
"Welcome to the Mirror Dimension," Strange said calmly, rotating his hands to shift the environment.
The ground beneath them flipped and shifted, reshaping itself into an ever-changing terrain.
"What?!"
The Terrifying Elder, caught off guard, scrambled to evade the moving ground.
"Wait! This isn't the real world!"
The elder quickly realized he had been dragged into a replica of reality.
"Correct. This is the Mirror Dimension. Here, no matter how much destruction occurs, the outside world remains unaffected," Strange explained.
With a flick of his hand, the upheaved ground disintegrated into countless meteors that rained down on the elder. At the same time, clouds above compressed into spear-like shapes, plunging downward.
Surrounded by relentless attacks, the elder could only endure. Though each strike corroded upon contact with his decayed body, Strange knew these minor attacks wouldn't defeat him—they were merely a distraction.
Strange manipulated the environment further, transforming the mirrored terrain into a vast ocean.
With a motion of his hand, the ocean rose, engulfing both him and the elder.
"No!"
The Terrifying Elder roared in fury, his hatred for liquids evident. He thrashed in the water, attempting to surface.
Just then, enormous metallic pillars descended from above, encircling the elder. They rearranged themselves into an intricate cage, sealing him in place.
Strange recalled the Ancient One's instructions on how to trap the elder. Using lead-based pillars to construct a complex cage within water would destabilize the pocket dimension, rendering it unusable for the elder.
"I'm no architect," Strange muttered, struggling to meet the intricate requirements.
After what felt like an eternity, he finally completed the intricate lead cage at the ocean's depths.
With his remaining energy, he conjured two glowing orbs and tossed them into the water, illuminating the cage.
Inside, the elder glared at his prison in frustration. Each breath brought seawater into his body. While he wouldn't suffocate, the experience was agonizing.
"Lead! I hate this stuff!"
The elder tried to open a pocket dimension, but the cage's complexity destabilized the dimensional field, making it impossible.
Bright light radiated from the cage, further aggravating the elder, who loathed intense light.
"All done. Time to go," Strange said, exiting the Mirror Dimension and returning to reality.
It seemed he had achieved victory.
Those watching Strange's battle with the elder were left in awe.
"That was incredible! So this is your magic?" Naruto exclaimed.
"To reshape terrain so effortlessly... That's terrifying," Jiraiya remarked.
"Even with my quake powers, I can't change the environment to such an absurd extent," Whitebeard admitted.
Nick Fury muttered, "You're far too dangerous. If you wanted, you could turn the world upside down!"
"Are you planning to send spies to infiltrate us?" the Ancient One asked, directly addressing Fury's unspoken thoughts.
Caught off guard, Fury hesitated, unsure how to respond.
"Relax," the Ancient One continued. "That was the Mirror Dimension, one of the most advanced magics. It creates a replica of the real world where everything is under our control. However, its effects don't carry over to reality."
Hearing this, some in the Marvel Universe felt slightly reassured, though skepticism lingered. They couldn't fully trust that the Ancient One had no other tricks up her sleeve.
From S.H.I.E.L.D.'s perspective, Kamar-Taj's magicians were a force to monitor and, if possible, recruit.
In the One Piece world, Marineford.
"Sengoku, do you understand their battle? It's absurd! Entering some Mirror Dimension where everything obeys their commands..."
Garp scratched his head, imagining himself in the elder's situation. He shuddered, realizing he'd be powerless against such a foe.
