Bruce Wayne's excitement was quickly dampened as he realized the Anywhere Door might not function in his universe.
"Wait, so it won't work?" His initial thrill turned to disappointment, realizing he had overlooked such a crucial detail. Maybe he needed another solution.
"But there might be a way," Doraemon said suddenly.
Doraemon reached into his pocket, pulling out a machine and a toolbox.
"This is the Invention Machine. You can ask it to invent anything, and it will produce a blueprint. Most of my gadgets can be made using this."
Doraemon turned to the Invention Machine. "Invention Machine, create an Anywhere Door!"
The machine sprang to life, producing a detailed blueprint. Doraemon handed the blueprint and toolbox to Bruce.
"Just follow the blueprint with the materials in the toolbox, and you'll be able to build an Anywhere Door that works in your universe."
Bruce stared, stunned, at the blueprint and toolbox in his hands. Could it really be that easy?
The technology on the blueprint was far beyond human comprehension, involving complex wormhole manipulation. Yet, here it was, broken down step-by-step.
"Thank you," Bruce said, regaining his composure and taking the blueprint. He couldn't believe his luck in obtaining such advanced technology so easily.
"Hey, Doraemon! We're allies too; you can't leave us out!" Temari interjected, clearly envious of the gadgets.
Kankuro and Gaara turned toward Doraemon, hoping to bring something valuable back to the Sand Village.
"And what do you want? You're not each expecting something, are you?" Doraemon asked, slightly exasperated.
"Why not? There are three of us, and we're your allies too!" Temari shot back.
"Alright, alright… fine," Doraemon sighed, realizing he had no choice.
"Thanks! Here's a little token of my gratitude," Temari said, giving Doraemon a quick kiss on his head.
Doraemon, flustered, started twirling in delight, hearts appearing in his eyes.
Seeing Doraemon's reaction, Gaian, Suneo, and Bruce exchanged knowing glances. The high-tech robot was evidently still vulnerable to simple charms.
"In that case, I'd like something too," Alfred chimed in. "Could you make me a bit younger?"
"Of course, no problem."
An hour later, Doraemon had extracted Kankuro's memory, traced their path, and mapped the way back to the entrance. Thanks to Bruce's detective skills, the process went smoothly.
"This is the spot," Bruce confirmed, pointing at a section among the endless IKEA shelves using a map projected by his Yellow Lantern Ring.
The unchanging layout had turned IKEA into a maze, but at least they could follow their memories to backtrack.
"So all we need to do is put on these belts and travel back to the time we entered?" Gaara asked, examining the belt.
"Exactly. I've already set the time. Based on local time, we've been here fifteen days. Just travel fifteen days back, and if you see yourselves entering, it means we succeeded," Doraemon explained.
"Finally, we're getting out—and with a time-travel belt to boot," Temari smirked, eyeing Doraemon mischievously.
Doraemon could only scratch his head in resignation. "Fine, you can keep it. But after one more use, it will deactivate permanently, so use it wisely."
"Then this is goodbye. Let's hope we meet again, just not in a place like this," Kankuro said with a smile.
"See you around, old man. Maybe make a cute puppet next time!" Gaian and Shizuka teased as they waved goodbye.
Kankuro's expression darkened. "First, I'm not an old man. Second, I'm not a toymaker."
The group burst out laughing, even Bruce managing a smile.
"Goodbye," Gaara said, activating his belt, with Temari and Kankuro following suit.
The three vanished.
"So, that's time travel? I thought there'd be some kind of tunnel," Alfred mused, fascinated.
"There usually is, but we can't see it. Now, let's head to the place you entered from," Doraemon replied as Bruce switched the map with his ring.
Gaara and his team reappeared in IKEA, fifteen days earlier.
Barely orienting themselves, they heard familiar voices.
"Where is this? When did this giant store open?"
"Let's check it out—maybe there's a sale."
It was unmistakably Temari and Kankuro's conversation from when they had first entered IKEA!
