Chapter 145 - Chapter 145

When Granny Chiyo spoke, none of the Sand Village ninjas dared to say anything more. Despite her age, Chiyo's methods were notoriously fearsome.

Otherwise, why would she have been called out as a savior during the Sand Village's crisis?

"Exactly! We must not touch the C-virus. It's too dangerous!"

The first to respond was Maki, who had clearly seen the power of the C-virus monsters.

Transforming people into mindless monsters, capable of spreading the virus and turning others into zombies—it was undoubtedly a terrifying weapon.

He did not want such a thing to exist within the Sand Village.

Seeing Maki support Chiyo, other conscientious ninjas stepped up and refused to have any dealings with the C-virus.

With this, the high-ranking officials had to temporarily abandon their thoughts to avoid drawing public anger.

Seeing this, Jiraiya let out a sigh of relief. He then looked into the distance at the IKEA store, where earlier he had punched a large hole in the ceiling. When he entered to check, it turned out to be just a regular store, not the infinite space.

If it weren't for the screen's feedback, he might have thought he had been fooled.

"It seems that only entering through the main entrance allows access to the infinite space," Jiraiya mused.

He was contemplating whether or not to send a shadow clone inside. He wanted to make a deal with Doraemon. If Gaara and the others acquired something powerful that gave them an advantage over Konoha, it wouldn't be good.

Although the power of the Sage of Six Paths was the strongest in the ninja world, when he thought about Doraemon's technology, which could twist reality itself, his own power seemed like mere child's play.

The problem was that once he entered, there was no telling where the exit would be. And if something happened to the shadow clone, the deal would be meaningless.

Moreover, within that unknown space, whether the shadow clone would remain under his control was still a question.

"Forget it, I'll wait for now."

After much thought, Jiraiya decided to hold off.

"By the way, Chiyo, I need to discuss something with you regarding that store."

Jiraiya addressed Chiyo.

...

Meanwhile, in the One Piece world...

Akainu and Kizaru were fighting fiercely against the MUTO.

With their immense strength, the MUTO, no matter how tenacious, was being dealt with one by one.

"Roar!!!"

Suddenly, roars echoed from within Skull Island.

Larger MUTOs than before flew out—these were male MUTOs.

Following closely were even larger female MUTOs, twice their size.

Seeing their kin being slaughtered, these MUTOs were filled with rage.

"Oh, they're even bigger now. Are they the adults?"

Kizaru commented in surprise.

"No matter, we'll kill them all first!"

Akainu, uninterested in any further analysis, continued releasing magma attacks against the MUTOs.

However, these new MUTOs were not as easy to deal with. They swung their sharp claws and knocked the falling magma away.

If any magma wasn't knocked away, they endured it with their tough bodies. Their defense was exceptionally strong, and even when magma hit them, it only left some cracks.

"These guys are stronger!"

Akainu's expression shifted as he witnessed this.

Kizaru, floating in midair, was about to attack when he noticed more flying monsters emerging from Skull Island.

With crimson bodies, massive wings, and a resemblance to pterosaurs, they were none other than Rodans!

These Rodans, having discovered the vast unknown sky outside, flew out, eager to explore the world beyond.

"This could be troublesome. Yata no Kagami."

Kizaru wasn't about to let these monsters fly out into the world. He unleashed countless beams of light, bombarding the Rodans.

The barrage of light inflicted pain on the Rodans, causing them to howl in agony, blood splattering everywhere.

This only served to infuriate them.

The Rodans gathered immense energy in their mouths and unleashed searing red beams at Kizaru.

Seeing the approaching heat rays, Kizaru's expression shifted. He quickly turned into countless particles of light to dodge the attack.

In the next second, the particles gathered above one of the Rodan's wings, and Kizaru reappeared, with a powerful energy gathered in his foot.

"Such terrifying rays. I can't let you all leave so easily."

With that, Kizaru stomped down hard on the wing beneath him, causing a massive explosion.

One of the Rodan's wings was destroyed, making it lose its balance and preventing it from flying.

Kizaru then kicked again, destroying the other wing, sending the Rodan crashing into the sea below.

Seeing their comrade defeated, the other Rodans immediately fired heat rays at Kizaru.

Kizaru didn't dare touch those rays; he could feel their power, which was comparable to his full-power laser. He immediately shifted positions using his element transformation ability.

Meanwhile, Akainu was locked in battle with the MUTOs.

He continuously unleashed magma, striking the MUTOs and covering their bodies in cracks.

But the MUTOs weren't easy to deal with. They used their immense strength to repeatedly send Akainu, in his magma form, flying, almost knocking him into the sea.

The MUTOs were infuriated by the sight of the magma-covered human. How could there be such a creature made of molten rock? Every time they struck him, it caused immense discomfort in their claws.

"Hellhound!"

Akainu unleashed his signature move, gathering magma and Armament Haki in his arm, and transformed the magma into a massive hound, which lunged into a MUTO's mouth, attacking it from within.

This attack killed one of the MUTOs.

"Roar!!!"

Seeing yet another comrade killed, the other MUTOs howled in fury. They changed their strategy, spitting webs and throwing up chunks of earth at Akainu.

"No matter what you do, your fate is death!"

Akainu declared as he prepared to attack again.

However, in the next second, his Observation Haki suddenly sensed something terrifying. His body went rigid, cold sweat dripped from his forehead, and his pupils contracted sharply.

"Whoosh!!!"

Suddenly, a blue beam shot out from Skull Island like a meteor.

It pierced through the female MUTO's body without losing momentum, continuing straight towards Akainu!

"Boom!!!"

Unable to dodge in time, Akainu was hit by the beam and engulfed in a massive explosion.

His body was thrown into the air, bleeding and spewing magma, powerless as he fell towards the sea.

"Hey!"

In the next second, Kizaru appeared beside Akainu, grabbed him, and quickly flew him back to the last remaining warship.
