Chapter 141 - Chapter 141

As the screen's voice echoed, the scene suddenly switched.

A place with mountain walls on both sides and a lake in the middle came into view, where two enormous creatures were facing off.

One looked like a spider, but its surface resembled metal, while the other seemed like a dinosaur, but even larger.

The dinosaur-like monster's entire body glowed with a blue radiance, and it opened its mouth to shoot a blue beam at the spider creature.

The spider, in turn, emitted a strange energy wave, weakening the blue beam's power, then charged forward.

The camera zoomed out, showing several massive beasts, each dozens of meters tall, flying across the sky, seemingly chasing something as they breathed fire continuously.

The flames fell upon the mountain ridges, and in the next moment, an unbelievable sight unfolded—the mountains began to tremble and move, revealing terrifying faces.

It turned out these were mountains camouflaged by monsters.

Next, about a dozen mammoth-like creatures walked leisurely by, heading to the vast lake and using their thick trunks to drink water.

Suddenly, the lake surface erupted in splashes, and several enormous spider-like creatures emerged, exuding a freezing aura that instantly froze the mammoths.

The spiders then thrust their appendages into the frozen bodies, attempting to drag them into the water.

But in the very next moment, the ice covering the mammoths shattered, and they angrily swung their trunks in retaliation, leading to an intense monster brawl.

"Our task force captured many scenes of monsters hunting each other. It seems the monsters on this island have formed their own food chain, acting as natural enemies to one another. There are too many mysteries surrounding them—are they native to Earth or from another world? It's still an unsolved mystery."

"In short, continuing the investigation is too dangerous, so the Foundation decided to extract the task force members from the air. This process failed several times, leading to heavy casualties."

"In the end, the Foundation found that the monsters wouldn't leave the island on their own, so they decided to blockade the coast, preventing anyone from approaching. If anyone dared to get close or be detected, memory erasure would be performed."

"At the same time, we must be vigilant about the monsters escaping. They occasionally leave unintentionally, and if they enter the human world, it would undoubtedly be catastrophic. Thus, if any signs of escape are detected, we must eliminate them with full force as quickly as possible to prevent more monsters from following."

"According to records, the Foundation has been containing this island for over a decade. There have been several incidents where large numbers of monsters tried to escape, and preventing them resulted in many deaths and almost revealed their existence to the public. No one knows when these monsters might decide to leave the island en masse, and if that happens, it might be beyond what the Foundation can handle."

"Oh, right, the name of this island hasn't been mentioned yet. Because the island is covered in skeletons left behind by monsters hunting each other, they decided to call it...

Skull Island."

...

The screen's narration ended, and the appearance of the various monsters just now undoubtedly left everyone in shock.

Luffy: "So cool! These monsters are way more awesome than Sea Kings!"

Aokiji: "Hey, hey, is that really the main point here?"

Dan: "This isn't about being awesome or not! It's about extreme danger! A whole island full of monsters—if it appeared in any of our worlds, it would be a massive problem!"

Dan's tone grew increasingly agitated as he spoke.

He and Gen understood better than anyone the threats these monsters posed.

And having an entire group of monsters was even worse. If Skull Island appeared in their world and all the monsters came out…

Even with Ultraman Seven, Ultraman Leo, and Gantaras, they would struggle to handle it.

As for the Foundation's success in preventing monster escapes mentioned earlier, he wasn't foolish enough to believe his world's military capabilities could counter such threats.

The Foundation surely possessed even more powerful weapons to contend with so many monsters.

Garp: "Is it really that exaggerated? I've fought plenty of giant creatures, and these don't look like much."

Sengoku: "Eh, with your strength and the Ox Talisman, sure, we don't have to worry. But the problem is that we might not even be able to reach them in time to contain the situation!"

Tsunade: "Exactly. We can't be sure where they'll appear."

Goku: "Is it really that troublesome? Just take care of it when it shows up. If a monster does appear, I can just use a Kamehameha to deal with it."

Seeing Goku's response, everyone fell silent. His previous displays of strength, especially the power of the Kamehameha in Super Saiyan form, were unforgettable for everyone.

Apart from Leo and Seven, anyone else caught in that blast would have no chance of survival.

"Now, predicting the next appearance of Skull Island."

At this moment, the voice from the screen quieted everyone down again, all eyes glued to it.

"The next appearance will be in the One Piece universe, near the Sabaody Archipelago."

When the exact location was revealed, everyone outside the One Piece universe breathed a sigh of relief.

Marvel Universe, S.H.I.E.L.D.

"Whew, no matter what, as long as it didn't appear in our world, it's fine."

Fury wiped the sweat from his forehead.

He really didn't want to deal with such a large-scale monster outbreak. He'd rather contain solitary, manageable anomalies.

"You're getting a bit too hopeful," Natasha quipped beside him.

"Hey, don't read my mind like that!"

Fury complained.

While Natasha's increasing powers were useful to him, he didn't want to end up as one of her victims.

"Hmph."

Natasha just scoffed at his reaction.

"By the way, where did Stark go?"

Fury suddenly noticed Tony was nowhere to be seen.

"He said he had something to take care of, some kind of research."

Natasha replied.

At this moment, Tony was seated in his private jet.

"Hey, Jarvis, how's the progress on the giant armor?"

Upon returning to the jet, Tony immediately inquired.

The idea had struck him when he saw Leo battling sea monsters and other beasts, and now, seeing the monsters on Skull Island, he felt the plan needed to be sped up.

Who knew when another giant anomaly might show up.

"Sir, building a giant mech isn't as simple as enlarging a Mark suit. The technical challenges are immense," Jarvis reminded him.

"I know. However, the most critical energy supply and AI systems are things we can solve. The only remaining issues are flexibility and response time, which are not a problem for me."

Tony continued drawing sketches, his eyes burning with passion.

What could be more exciting for a man than building a massive robot with his own hands?
