Bruce had initially thought that trading with Doraemon would be a challenging task, considering the extraordinary nature of his gadgets.
Items like those would be immensely valuable to anyone, so it didn't seem likely that Doraemon would give them away so easily.
However, witnessing Doraemon's generosity in handing out the Momotaro Dumplings made Bruce realize that perhaps things weren't as complicated as he had imagined.
"Hmm, Shukaku, can you change back into Gaara now?" Temari asked, attempting to command the now-docile Shukaku. While Shukaku looked oddly cute in his current form, it still gave her an uneasy feeling.
"Yes, Master," Shukaku responded sweetly before his body began to shrink. In moments, Shukaku returned to Gaara's body, and Gaara himself reappeared.
"Gaara!" Kankuro shouted excitedly upon seeing his brother return to normal.
"What... what happened to me?" Gaara asked, rubbing his forehead in confusion, his mind foggy and disoriented.
"Mr. Cat, will the Momotaro Dumplings have any effect on humans?" Temari asked, concerned.
"Don't worry, it won't affect humans," Doraemon assured her with confidence.
Temari sighed in relief. For a moment, she had been worried that Gaara might act like a pet under her control. Then again... she mused to herself, that might not be so bad after all.
"Mr. Doraemon, could I also have some of those dumplings? I have a rather troublesome pet," Bruce asked after taking a deep breath. He glanced back at his Darkwing, which was still stomping around, agitated by the lack of sustenance from the staff monsters it had been fighting.
The Darkwing had grown increasingly irritable, as the monsters it fought didn't provide the life energy it needed.
While it could eat the surrounding meat products, they only offered temporary nourishment and weren't enough to sustain it for long.
Outside of Ikea, at least the Darkwing could feed on creatures like Echo Beasts, but here, it was becoming increasingly frustrated.
As its contract holder, Bruce could sense the Darkwing's rising agitation. He worried that if it continued to be deprived of proper sustenance, it might cause serious trouble.
"Ah, sure!" Doraemon responded easily, seeing the Darkwing's aggressive nature. He handed Bruce a small bag of Momotaro Dumplings, not thinking twice about it. In the 22nd century, such items were relatively inexpensive, so he wasn't particularly worried about giving them away.
Bruce's eyes lit up at Doraemon's generosity. If getting these dumplings was this easy, perhaps trading for other items might not be as difficult as he thought.
"Leave Ikea! Leave Ikea!"
Suddenly, terrifying shouts echoed from all directions as the staff monsters started rushing toward them.
"Ahhh! We need to get out of here! I don't want to die in this place!" Nobita screamed, trembling in fear at the sound of the approaching monsters.
"Let's get out of here, now!" Doraemon decided swiftly. He pulled out several Bamboo Copters and placed them on the heads of Temari, Gaara, Kankuro, and Alfred, activating them and sending them into the air.
"Eh?! We're flying?!"
Gaara, now fully awake, looked around in bewilderment as he and the others were lifted into the air.
"This is one of my gadgets! I'll explain later. For now, just follow me!"
Doraemon directed everyone to follow the Maze Detector Ball that continued to guide them through the air. While Gaara and the others struggled at first, Gian and his friends helped them get the hang of flying with the Bamboo Copters.
However, the escape wasn't going smoothly. The staff monsters weren't stupid; realizing they couldn't catch them on the ground, they began climbing the shelves, reaching higher to try and grab the group in the air.
"Leave Ikea! Leave Ikea!"
Ahead of them, over a dozen staff monsters, each towering over 10 or even 20 meters tall, stood in their path. Smaller staff monsters clung to their bodies as they prepared to strike.
"Ahhhh!!" Nobita screamed, terrified at the sight.
"Prepare for battle!"
Doraemon quickly handed air cannons and shock guns to Nobita, Shizuka, and Gian, even giving Alfred an air cannon to defend himself.
Thus, an intense aerial battle began, with everyone fighting off the relentless staff monsters.
This scene was being watched by audiences from various other universes.
Luffy: "That Ikea store looks so fun! I want to check it out!"
Nami: "You idiot! A place that dangerous isn't something you just visit for fun!"
Kizaru: "I'm more interested in those Momotaro Dumplings. If I had some of those, I could tame the Sea Kings."
Sengoku: "That's a good idea."
In the world of One Piece, the most troublesome creatures were undoubtedly the Sea Kings. While many powerful humans could fight them, Sea Kings could launch surprise attacks from the depths, and even the strongest fighters could fall prey without Observation Haki or a lookout. If they could tame Sea Kings, they would gain a massive advantage in sea battles!
Sengoku wasn't the only one with this idea.
In the Leo Universe, two Ultramen had similar thoughts.
"If we could tame monsters, the MAC team's strength would increase exponentially!"
Gen Ootori said excitedly.
"That's true, but I wonder how the higher-ups would react if we did that," Dan Moroboshi remarked thoughtfully. Still, it wasn't something they could act on yet—they didn't have the dumplings.
Tony Stark: "I can understand the Forget-Me-Flower's chemical properties, but the Momotaro Dumplings? How does that even work? It's not like a regular sedative."
While Tony Stark had a great deal of expertise, researching something like the Momotaro Dumplings wasn't a priority for him, especially in a world with few ferocious beasts.
Back in Ikea, Doraemon's group continued their battle with the staff monsters while flying, following the Maze Detector Ball. With Bruce Wayne and the three ninja's combined strength, they kept the monsters at bay.
However, the sheer number of staff monsters, stretching as far as the eye could see, was overwhelming, giving the group a sense of relentless pressure. Fighting indefinitely wasn't a viable option.
"I see the exit!"
With his enhanced Knight Vision, Bruce spotted a glowing light about a kilometer away, indicating the location of the exit.
