Chapter 19 - Chapter 19

"But this isn't the most terrifying part of the Flame Demon. When it absorbs enough flammable material, its form will begin to change and it will gain intelligence. The worst part is, it can self-replicate."

On the screen, after the Flame Demon consumed a large amount of vegetation, the giant flame started to change.

The flame twisted and compressed, eventually forming limbs, making it look very much like a human, with the sole difference being that its entire body, inside and out, was composed of fire.

But that wasn't all. The Flame Demon's body began to explode repeatedly, scattering several sparks.

When these sparks hit the ground, they also began to transform into humanoid figures, identical to the original Flame Demon.

This was the most troublesome aspect of the SCP Flame Demon. One Flame Demon meant an entire race. They would continuously split and replicate, and missing even one could lead to uncontrollable fires.

As more and more Flame Demons appeared, the already raging firestorm became unmanageable, spreading to a nearby town.

Firefighters, upon seeing the enormous and terrifying inferno, quickly mobilized all their resources and personnel to douse the flames.

But their efforts were futile against the overwhelming blaze.

The water they sprayed was insignificant compared to the vast sea of fire engulfing the mountains and forest. It was impossible to stop the spread.

Moreover, there was something even more terrifying within the firestorm.

"Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!"

Numerous fireballs were launched from the firestorm, bombarding the surrounding buildings, vehicles, and streets.

Explosions erupted everywhere, engulfing bystanders.

The sudden fireballs left people in shock.

Before they could react, more fireballs appeared.

This time, they targeted the firefighters' equipment.

Fire hoses, hydrants, fire trucks—anything providing water was destroyed, preventing the firefighters from attempting to douse the flames.

Deprived of their only hope, the firefighters' faces turned pale.

Before they could react further, they saw numerous figures emerging from the firestorm.

These figures were over two meters tall, humanoid in shape, but entirely composed of flames.

The Flame Demons pounced on the firefighters, consuming them as fuel, growing even larger, and then continuing forward.

With each step, they ignited more fires.

Falling sparks turned into raging flames.

They targeted suitable prey, pouncing to consume them and rapidly expanding the firestorm.

Attempts to resist the Flame Demons were futile. Being composed of fire, no attack could harm them. Even explosions only split them into sparks, which quickly reformed.

In less than half an hour, the once peaceful town had turned into a blazing inferno, and it wasn't over yet. As long as the Flame Demons moved and there were flammable materials, they would continue their relentless hunt.

Ultimately, they could engulf an entire nation in flames.

Seeing the terrifying actions of the Flame Demons, many were stunned.

Nobita: "Are these ghosts? Ghost fire come to life!"

Doctor Strange: "These are far from ghosts! They're monsters!"

Bruce Wayne: "This is an apocalypse for modern cities. Flammable materials are everywhere—cars, gasoline, trees, people. If we don't find a way to stop them, these creatures will destroy entire nations!"

Natasha: "But how do we stop them? Such a terrifying firestorm, no number of firefighters would be enough!"

Dan: "Unless we're lucky and it rains heavily in that area, it's impossible to stop."

Mordo: "The worst part is, these creatures can self-replicate. If even one escapes, it will repeat endlessly."

Son Goku: "Self-replicate? Sounds like the last Piccolo."

Piccolo: "…"

Marvel Universe.

SHIELD.

"Contact all fire departments immediately, and be ready at all times! Use whatever authority is necessary!"

Nick Fury decisively made arrangements. If the Flame Demons appeared, he would coordinate with local fire departments and agents to handle them, ensuring they had no chance to spread.

Kamar-Taj.

"These creatures are still nothing special."

The Ancient One calmly fanned herself. She had many ways to deal with such creatures. Since they were fire, they could be extinguished with water.

Asgard.

"Flame Demons? They remind me of Surtur."

Odin murmured as he watched the screen. Among his adversaries was a being similar to these Flame Demons, but on a solar scale, far more terrifying.

Far more dreadful than these so-called Flame Demons.

"A bunch of little flame demons called Flame Demons? They're nothing. If they appear, I'll smash them with my hammer!"

Thor watched, feeling unconcerned, not believing these Flame Demons posed any significant threat to him.

"Brother, didn't you see? They're immortal. Even if you smash them, they'll just reform. How can you defeat them?"

Loki rolled his eyes in reminder.

"Ha, there's always a way."

But Thor didn't think too much, his confidence unwavering.

"We believe in Lord Thor!"

His comrades echoed, making Loki want to roll his eyes even more.

DC Universe

Diana watched the screen seriously, thinking deeply.

"If they appear, how do I deal with them? Ordinary attacks seem useless."

Diana carefully considered various tactics, her battle spirit rising.

These immortal, numerous creatures intrigued her.

Naruto World.

In a small tavern.

"What terrifying monsters. If we encounter them, we can only use Water Release."

Tsunade said seriously.

"Water Release alone isn't enough. It needs to be on a large scale."

Jiraiya added, equally serious.

To achieve such a scale, an enormous amount of chakra was needed. Only…

Jiraiya glanced at Naruto.

Only a tailed beast like the Nine-Tails had enough chakra for such a large-scale Water Release.

But the Nine-Tails wouldn't help, and Naruto couldn't use its chakra.

"Let's hope they don't appear in our world. Otherwise, there's only one solution…"

As the firestorm on the screen grew more terrifying, threatening to engulf the town, the SCP Foundation's planes reappeared.

This time, there were many more planes, all connected by iron chains, pulling a gigantic, radar-like device, much more complex and precise.

"The weather control weapon is in position. Initiating weather change."

As soon as the words were spoken, the machine began flashing, starting its operation.

Then, the radar emitted strange waves into the sky.

The next second, the night sky, previously lit by the fire's glow, became covered in dark clouds!
