One-on-one.
"You bastard."
The Kumo shinobi gritted his teeth.
Though he didn't care much about the weak, seeing someone kill a person from Kumo in front of him like this was a blatant provocation.
Only Kumo's own could bully or kill their people.
In the next moment...
A figure emerged from the thunder, dashing toward the next flickering lightning, then toward a third one.
He was darting among the flickering bolts of thunder all around.
Countless bolts of lightning stretched out, connecting with each other.
The blue electric currents were not lacking in power.
For a while, there was no place to safely stand.
He weaved through the thunder, his brows furrowing more deeply, leaping through the links of thunder above and below.
Observing the increasingly scarce space around him.
Most of the area was swallowed by thunder.
If the entire space became covered in lightning, it would be dangerous for him.
His gaze shifted to the distance, but the area was sealed off by thunder, making escape difficult.
Moreover, he realized the lightning was continuously shrinking inwards.
Further squeezing the space where Gin could stand.
The slow pace was meant to prevent the enemy from noticing.
But with the Sharingan, it was easily detected.
Gin had no special solution to this.
The Yin release chakra would be disrupted by Lightning release, and with the opponent hidden within the thunder, it was impossible to affect them.
If he were to charge forward, he would have to face the thunder, but he hadn't trained to withstand it.
If paralyzed and slowed down, the opponent definitely wouldn't miss the chance.
At that point, it would only take one strike.
"This is a bit tricky."
Gin dashed through the lightning.
If he didn't find a solution soon, he'd have to reverse summon and escape.
His pupils moved quickly within their sockets, searching for a chance to counterattack.
The opponent was already wary of the Sharingan, leaving no openings.
His mind raced through the jutsus he knew.
"I can only take a gamble."
Gin suddenly charged straight into the thunder.
"Seeking death?" The Kumo shinobi's gaze turned icy.
Did he really think this lightning was just for show?
Just in case, the Kumo shinobi continued weaving the lightning web.
"Raiton! Raitei Jōmon no Jutsu!" (Lightning Release: Thunder Domain Web Technique)
The entire area was completely enveloped in thunder.
He was a ninja specialized in ninjutsu.
The intense lightning flickered rapidly, swallowing everything.
Before long...
Even the Kumo jonin couldn't sustain it any longer.
Even the chakra accumulated through basic inner techniques had its limits.
As the lightning subsided...
A figure emerged from within.
The Kumo shinobi's pupils shrank.
Gin appeared in a wretched state, but he was still alive.
His clothes were torn to shreds, and his body was covered in severe burn marks from the lightning. A normal person would've died by now.
"Rokkū Senzei!" (Six Paths Sage Art!)
Gin's body glowed faintly, and the damaged areas began to heal rapidly.
Rokkū Senzei, being a Yang release technique, had no counter from the Yin release, allowing Gin to use it successfully.
He survived purely thanks to the Rokkū Senzei. The enemy, confused and cautious, didn't attack again while waiting for the results.
Gin used this method to deceive the opponent, surviving until the other couldn't maintain their ninjutsu.
It was an extremely risky tactic.
Throwing oneself into lightning and becoming paralyzed, unable to move.
But the Rokkū Senzei wasn't for nothing.
"How much chakra do you have left?" Gin grinned at him.
The grim scars on his face were rapidly disappearing.
The Kumo shinobi sighed and lay on the ground.
He had no chakra left at all.
There was no way to continue fighting.
Swoosh, swoosh, swoosh!
Shurikens flew through the air, instantly piercing his forehead, throat, and chest.
Blood flowed from his body, staining the ground red.
Boom!!
A violent explosion engulfed the Kumo shinobi's corpse.
"He just had to go out with a bang."
Gin shook his head.
If he had been any closer, he'd have been caught in the blast.
Whether before or after a fight, any carelessness could lead to a heavy price.
Although, with the Rokkū Senzei, he wasn't too afraid.
As long as he wasn't missing limbs or instantly killed, as long as he had chakra, he could recover quickly.
He looked toward the other battlefield.
It was far more intense than here.
Flames surged in all directions.
The high-temperature flames couldn't be suppressed, even by cooler fire.
White crescent-shaped slashes repeatedly struck the fire-clad Nibi.
Each time they swept across, a piece of the flames was taken away, but the next moment, the Nibi quickly regenerated.
The fireballs spat by the Nibi were comparable to Bijūdama in power, but they couldn't touch White Fang.
The opponent was incredibly fast, with the Nibi's claws moving faster than its mind could react, yet it could only grasp at White Fang's afterimages.
The opponent, like a white crescent moon, kept inflicting wounds on the Nibi.
"White Fang!!"
The Nibi roared in fury, its claws madly swiping at White Fang, but only the afterimages remained in its grasp.
In the next instant, the white crescent blade slashed across its body, tearing apart most of it.
But the burning flames quickly regenerated the injuries.
Sakumo appeared atop a rock, and the next moment, as the Nibi's claws reached for him, he quickly vanished with a Shunshin.
He wasn't in great shape either. The Nibi wasn't particularly powerful compared to White Fang—if the opponent's speed couldn't match his, they weren't much of a threat.
The Nibi fell into this category.
But the flames covering the Nibi made it difficult for Sakumo to get close. The scorching heat would harm him if he approached.
His figure flickered continuously, stepping on the ground and disappearing from the spot.
The Nibi's massive head approached, followed by a fireball erupting from its mouth.
It engulfed everything.
Sakumo reappeared outside the range of the fireball, quickly forming seals with one hand.
"Raiton! Shichū Shibari no Jutsu!" (Lightning Release: Four Pillar Bind)
Four gray stone pillars rose from the ground, sealing the Nibi within.
Wild thunder erupted from the pillars, shocking the Nibi.
But that wasn't enough.
While the Nibi was paralyzed by the lightning...
Sakumo completed a second seal.
"Raiton! Jūrokuchū Shibari no Jutsu!" (Lightning Release: Sixteen Pillar Bind)
More stone pillars sealed the Nibi tightly inside.
Sakumo took a deep breath as a massive white apparition appeared behind him.
This strike would be enough to kill the jinchūriki.
But just as he was about to swing the blade...
A bolt of lightning descended from the sky.
Boom!!
A flash pierced through the stone seal.
Then the entire stone box was destroyed.
The massive Nibi rushed out once again, with a bare-chested, dark-skinned man standing on its head, arms crossed.
"Am I going to have to fight all the Kage today?"
Sakumo sighed upon seeing the figure.
This was the second Kage he had encountered and was now about to face.
The white apparition behind him slowly disappeared.
If he had swung that blade, he would have lost most of his strength, and now, faced with the man before him, he would have no choice but to await his death.
