These were not the words one would expect from a Konoha shinobi, or even a shinobi at all.
Tsunade and Sakumo stared straight at Jin.
Chōza tugged on Jin's sleeve.
The three of them were uncomfortable with the tense atmosphere. They never realized Jin had such guts before.
After all, these were two of Konoha's most significant figures.
But Jin paid them no mind.
He just kept smiling, waiting for their response.
As his strength grew, so did his choices.
He could now afford to reveal some of his intentions.
"Alright, what do you want?"
Tsunade was the one who spoke, crossing her arms as she looked at Jin.
She was curious to see what he would ask for.
"I want to look at the Scroll of Seals."
Jin stated his purpose directly.
This caused Tsunade and Sakumo to exchange a surprised glance. It wasn't that his request was too high; rather, it was much lower than expected.
The Scroll of Seals was something most shinobi and people from other villages were strictly prohibited from accessing.
But for certain individuals, it was something they could request to see at any time.
Tsunade and the White Fang were among those.
However, the techniques within it either had severe side effects or were exceedingly difficult, so they had never planned on learning them.
Moreover...
Tsunade frowned.
"Did you create the Basic Inner Technique?"
"Yes."
Jin nodded. This was his leverage.
"You should be entitled to view the Scroll of Seals already. Why are you using this to threaten us?"
In Tsunade's eyes, Jin's actions were tantamount to a threat.
Jin's reaction, however, left Tsunade puzzled.
"What? Did I say something wrong?"
"I..." Jin felt exasperated. "I haven't received a single coin for it, so what right do I have to look at the Scroll of Seals?"
"How is that possible!?" Tsunade's frown deepened.
Every creator of a jutsu that was recorded in the Scroll of Seals was entitled to view it.
Although there were requirements based on one's background, with smaller clans and civilian shinobi needing to submit multiple requests, the Uchiha clan shouldn't have to deal with such complications.
Sakumo remained silent, but he understood the reason behind this.
It was merely another form of suppression against the Uchiha.
Tsunade also realized the cause.
This rule was established by her great-uncle, Tobirama. Although Tobirama wasn't fond of the Uchiha, he had never imposed such restrictions on them.
"Fine, if you can solve this problem, I will personally ensure you get to view the Scroll of Seals. If no one dies here, even if those old geezers disagree, I will bring the Scroll of Seals to you myself."
Tsunade couldn't care less about those old men's attempts to suppress the Uchiha.
Jin, however, didn't immediately agree and instead looked at Sakumo.
Sakumo frowned slightly. "I will also help you gain access."
He believed that achievements should be rewarded, and the Basic Inner Technique had significantly strengthened the village.
It played a crucial role in holding off the Sand Shinobi's attacks.
However, as for Konoha's higher-ups, he wasn't sure what to say.
Only then did Jin smile in satisfaction.
"So, kid, what exactly are you going to do?"
Tsunade asked.
"It's not me who will do it."
Jin shook his head.
"Are you messing with me?"
Tsunade raised an eyebrow, her hand clenching into a fist. If Jin didn't give her a satisfactory answer, she would make sure he felt the power of her Super Strength technique.
Kushina had told her that this guy bullied her a lot.
"I have a jutsu specifically developed for dealing with toxins, but it's not very effective for treatment. However, it can be used for detoxification if the user has high-level medical skills."
Jin had already devised a method to handle the situation before he arrived.
"So, you're saying you want to teach me a jutsu?"
Tsunade understood what Jin was getting at.
Jin nodded in agreement. "Whether or not they can be saved depends on how quickly you can learn it, Tsunade-sama."
"Let's do it."
At the very least, Tsunade had to try for the sake of the patients.
"This jutsu is called Thousand Spiders and Myriad Venoms Hand."
"Its ability is to absorb toxins into the hand, condensing them into a venomous hand. The more toxins absorbed, the stronger its power."
Jin began to slowly teach Tsunade the process of learning the Thousand Spiders and Myriad Venoms Hand.
Jin didn't try to hide anything, but the content of this jutsu left everyone who heard it utterly confused.
Even Sakumo was a bit puzzled.
On the other hand, Tsunade seemed to be deep in thought.
It was the first time she had heard of such an unusual jutsu; nothing like it had ever existed before.
Its complexity was on par with A-rank jutsu, but for someone with medical knowledge and an understanding of sealing techniques, it wasn't difficult to grasp.
It involved creating a seal on the hand, using Mystical Palm Technique to absorb the toxins.
However, there was one aspect that Tsunade couldn't quite understand.
This jutsu technique seemed to have traces of her own influence.
Or rather, it felt like this jutsu had been created specifically for her.
Tsunade gave Jin a long, penetrating look.
This kid was an unexpected genius. She couldn't help but wonder how he would compare to her great-uncle, Tobirama, when it came to developing jutsu.
For some reason, she felt Tobirama might lose. Was it disrespectful to think this way?
"Tsunade-sama." Jin finished explaining and suddenly called out again.
"What now?"
Tsunade was getting a bit impatient.
"After the war, would you go on a date with me?"
Jin asked, his tone filled with anticipation.
Sakumo: "..."
Shikaku and his team: "..."
The boy had guts.
Tsunade laughed, though through gritted teeth.
"As expected, Jiraiya's apprentices are all the same."
"Let's talk this out, Tsunade-sama! Please put your fists down!!"
Before Jin could get her consent, he was met with a fist instead.
"Die!"
"Boom!"
Jin's figure was sent flying, crashing into a tent, collapsing it entirely.
"Serves you right," Shikaku muttered, annoyed that Jin dared to make a move on Tsunade-sama.
Tsunade then raised her hands and began studying the newly acquired jutsu.
For a medical ninja, this jutsu was a blessing. It could detoxify and also serve as a potent offensive technique.
Its difficulty was high, but not too challenging for Tsunade.
Soon, the first layer of the sealing technique formed in her hand.
Tsunade wasted no time and approached the poisoned patient, placing her hand on his chest.
Her hand emitted a green glow as she began slowly extracting the toxins from his body.
As the toxins gathered in her hand, Tsunade let out a muffled groan.
The most challenging part of this jutsu was the initial phase. Before absorbing the toxins, the user had to endure the pain of the toxins themselves, then seal them entirely within the hand.
Next, chakra was converted to a water nature, continuously sealed within the seal, reflecting traces of the Basic Inner Technique within the process.
Soon, the water-nature chakra adapted to the toxins in her hand.
The first layer was complete.
Tsunade then moved on to the next patient.
Placing her hand on the patient again, she activated the jutsu.
"Thousand Spiders and Myriad Venoms Hand!"
The toxins were rapidly extracted.
