Felix had always read a lot, so it was normal for him to do so when it was for something like his exams. He felt, at the moment, that to compensate for being focused mostly on his boyfriend, he might as well pass every one of his papers in flying colors. The success, while it's mostly for himself, it's also for his parents. So they'd see that he was serious and not think that he was only interested in the money that just made an appearance in his life. Not that it'd be a bad thing for him to be. And it's not like Psalm hadn't been giving him--and still was--lots of those already.
