The last thing he expected when he woke up and prepared to go to school wasn't to see his father parked in front of the gate.
Felix was left dumbfounded as the tinted car windows were brought down to reveal his father who had a small smile on his face as he waved. Not knowing what to do, Felix waved back.
His driver walked to open the door for him to enter. Feeling self-conscious, Felix turned to see whether anyone else could see them, but he wasn't able to look properly because his father called his name.
"Good morning," he said as he settled in the car.
"Good morning," Malik responded as the car started. "You must be surprised to see me."
Felix nodded. "Why are you here? No offense."
The older man shrugged. "No offense taken. I came to find you for a reason."
"And that is?" Felix asked, glancing at him.
