His friends called. Felix never knew this, but the moment after he'd woken up, washed up and eaten the breakfast Psalm ordered for them earlier, his boyfriend relayed the information to him.
"Why didn't you wake me up?" Felix asked in surprise.
They were settled in bed now because Psalm didn't really want to get up. There were no protests from Felix though. He didn't have the strength anyway.
Psalm shrugged. "I didn't see the need. And I mean, you were asleep, you know."
Felix gave him a look, which he simply smiled at in response. He snatched his phone from his hand and dialed the number of the first person that reached out; Ada.
"Hey."
"Hey! Sorry, I'm probably bothering you. I know you're with him there. Am I right?"
Felix smiled, amused by his friend and the curious look his boyfriend was giving him.
"I am. You didn't have to call. I was going to reach out later," he said.
