His father had called and they'd talked extensively. He and Bashir met, and he properly apologized. Felix would've said he was surprised, but he wasn't. Heck, even his step-dad, who didn't like him at one point, apologized and told him he wanted to do better. Guess if this were in the past where every parent still refused to take accountability, it would be so shocking.
