He wanted to laugh. Imagine telling a parent to apologize to you for hurting you. That was quite foolish. He needed to reduce his expectations sometimes. Sure, they'd said sorry already--but did they mean it?--and others hadn't. He wouldn't be surprised if they never did.
Just as he was about to fall asleep, he got a call from Psalm. He felt relieved. Finally, someone to get his mood up. If only he were close by.
Because Psalm asked how he was, he didn't think twice when he poured out all his frustration for his family and the changes that happened when he wasn't around.
"Wow. That's…a lot."
"I'm sorry," Felix apologized. "Just thinking about my holiday, it's mostly been about this and I've tried to push it back. And you asked so."
Psalm laughed. "It's cool. You didn't do anything wrong. And yes, I was the one who asked."
