Within minutes, Jack Shepherd entered the room. Aurora gestured for him to take a seat.
"Jack, thanks for coming in," Aurora began, her tone neutral but firm. "I wanted to discuss our current financials and some irregularities I've noticed."
"Of course, ma'am," Jack responded, settling into the chair across from her. "I'm happy to discuss anything you need."
Aurora pulled a file from her desk and opened it, revealing several reports. "I've been reviewing the budget reports and came across some discrepancies. There seem to be several large transactions that don't quite align with our stated projects. Can you shed some light on that?"
Jack's brow furrowed slightly as he shifted in his seat. "Hmm, I'm not sure what you're referring to. We've been careful to allocate funds according to our planned projects. Maybe it's just a matter of classification or timing?"
